Hi all. I have read about the door latches failing and it seems that mine has also done this, on a 2007 56 plate Octavia. I therefore need to get the door latch module out of the door to inspect and either replace or clean the micro switches. What I need to know is do I need to remove the window and all the other components to get at the door latch module. It seems that the panel which has the window winder motor attached and is sealed into the door is also riveted in. How do I remove this to get at the last h module? Cheers in advance for any help!
