Black vRS alloys on a Monte

Featured Replies

This one is not on Black Gigaros, 2014 Monte @ 2013 Frankfurt Show.

(LHD & has rear Discs)

Nope ur right it's on Trinity's I think when u look at the shadows on the wheels it gives the impression that they have the Gigaro's angled spokes.....not fussy on the painted grill top.......also a DSG gear box...????

  • The dealer is talking absolute tosh. They have blatantly pinched the wheels off your car to go on another Monte. I wouldn't be accepting that at all. The black gigaros are nice but just be aware they

  • Having listened to everything on here, ultimately there is only one resolution

  • Don't think my eyes are deceiving me but they don't look like trinitys on this monte, maybe all montes from now on are going to have the VRS wheels instead (also notice colour coded grille top)

I believe I will be able to sort this out some time next week, will post detailed pics!

Sure whatever you say. Mods crusader passing by people, attention...

If only I understood what that means?

You can't expect people to pay too much attention replying to you Brim, as long as you keep that avatar pic up.

Any news...??

There has been some news today actually. Apparently because the Fabia is coming to the end of the current model, there is in fact a shortage of Trinity wheels and therefore the brand (Skoda) have changed the spec and Montes will now come with the black Gigaros from the line. This was in an email from the head of business at the dealership I purchased the car from. They have this information after speaking directly to Skoda and this was confirmed by them. It would be interesting to see if anyone else on here has one on order or is due to collect one in the near future to see what wheels are on it mind. I don't feel so much like I'm being ripped off anymore after seeing that email, I must admit.

Thanks

EEMMMMM.!!!!

There had to be a logical answer to something that fundamental

They're probably already built, parked up in a field somewhere. When I ordered mine in January, I was told I wasn't able to order a Tech as they weren't producing them anymore. So these ones still available have already been produced. Build date on my car was 18 Feb

Glad you got it sorted, explanation seems fair enough knowing they'll all come with Gigaros.

Enjoy your Monte when it comes, we all do.

Thanks again mate, can't wait!

That was close for us then as ours was registered on the 31/1/2014 and had only been in the UK for a week (ours was also built to order).......phew that was close ;)

I'm not liking the colour coded grill grill though :x

I must be the only one that does.

Agreed, not a good look at all..... :|

Maybe on a non Monte. So whole car is colour coded?

I think the black grill helps the Monte stand out

Re DSG, the monte carlo is available with DSG in some markets. I wonder if the last of the VRS will get the colour coded top of the grill.
