Sat Nav Map Scale

Featured Replies

After some help.  Had a search through forums but not found anything that may help.

Is there a way to "lock" the map scale to a set level like 75 or 100 Yds...  Even with Auto Zoom turned off the map flies in and out all over the place! When the map flies out to 1 or 2 miles scale I loose all the traffic info so it would be handy if I could keep it at a lower level.

Cheers

Keith

Have exactly the same problem and posted about it. Thinking its one of a fair number of bugs in the new MQB infotainment.

When you zoom it with your fingers mine stays at the zoom setting it stops at?

Otherwise it adapts to its own scale based on your speed it seems even without auto zoom on.

Does it really? Must try that. If you use the right hand knob to control it just seems to have a mind of its own!

I'll give that a try..also didnt know about the right hand knob...I was constantly resetting the scale via voice control.

Zoom changes according to the topography too, so in town it will zoom in, as it does when approaching any junction on the route. I like it.
