Well, if we can only rearrange the cars on the drive Roomy will soon be racking up the miles in the hands of my very much better half. Weather permitting, I'll still leave the other cars at home and cycle 9 miles to work - do Skoda do bikes?

Contented owners of a 1.2 Tsi SE [86 bhp] with additional [dealer fitted] roofbars and [home fitted] sill guards and door guards. How big are those doors to have no car park protection? Love the panoramic roof - all cars should have them, especially those with unremittingly black interiors. Simply amazed at the space available [doubtless, hence the name - doh!].

Can't decide whether or not to source a spare wheel from e-bay or the like? It seems such a sensible option then I remember her last new car [Fiat Punto] has just had its 11th birthday and has had neither a spare, nor a puncture: and that's been in the hands of our daughter for the last five years! The space just looks so lonely without a spare wheel to fill it...............

Already used the forum to good effect as a guest before ownership and now looking forward to more contact.

HI, I always feel comfortable with a spare.

Welcome

Welcome to the forum. You'll never need a spare until you need it!

I bought one from a member on here for our Touran when we went to France. Got a genuine VAG group jack and tool kit to fit inside it for about £35 from a site sponsor too.

Welcome to Briskoda.  Spare wheel (and tools) was a £50 option when I bought mine - a no-brainer in my opinion.  I potholed a front tyre just one month into ownership.  Sidewall damage that no goo can could have repaired.  Unlike many modern cars, Roomster has dedicated spare wheel storage that doesn't rob cargo space.  Seems a shame not to use it.

Panoramic roof was an expensive (£500) option on mine but I love it.

Happy motoring.
