Hey all , time for the summer lakes meet again, after some wrangling with friends, a date has been set , for the weekend 12th-13th July....

 

I'm going to take a punt to ask Ian to design a couple of days driving for us , and we will have to try to organize a common campsite, I will what i can do about that ....

 

anyway , lets start a list

Could be tempted by this, but suspect I will be a late-joiner....  Its GTI International the weekend before and I am going to do a bit of drag racing

Might have a ride up on the Saturday afternoon/evening to entertain you all, Swmbo may attend, so your in for a treat

 

Not camping, campings for wimps. 

Ill show my interest. Even if to come say hello forthe day if I cant commit to the weekend.

we generally get into hartside pass , down to ullswater ect ect should be good drives, but I'll leave that up to Ian

Debating this but we need to get a decent size new tent.

I can't commit at the moment. But I am interested and will keep an eye on developments and work commitments.

Wheel bearings done on the mobile home so we can take it.

Might do the same as it's not far and would be nice to have an extra night. Can just go straight from work.

I will be there on the friday too.... just got to sort a campsite now! lol... I'm going to try Dale bottom farm, might call in to see them today taking the roadster out for a drive!

Yeah that was a nice little site and they seemed happy to just give us the bottom of the field to take over.

 

If you wouldn't mine checking regarding the motorhome that would be appreciated. We don't need a hookup and would prefer if we would just park up near everyone else if possible.

How big is your camper?

 

You might struggle getting to Dale farm with anything too wide.

Errr.

 

It's 6 metres long, by 2.4 metres high and just over 2 meteres wide I think.

 

I can't really remember what the entrance etc was like.

Just been on their site and they offer touring caravan camping and had a look on google maps and it looks plenty big enough.
