im stopping Sunday night weather permitting, got the monday off work.

Building up to this nicely, but I can't help feeling I am missing something to bring along.    So far car only has in it:-

 

Airbed (and new inflator pump....)

Tent (tried and tested)

Camping chair

 

I always have the chance to stock up on supplies in Telford, so I am not concerned.  Definitely missing copious amounts of alcohol though!

 

I am half tempted to leave the camping chair at home and just take along a M8 spline and my ratchet, and just sit on the passenger seat.....

Yes! I've got BMW seats in my workshop instead of a normal sofa

Could you get a frame welded?

It has to stay as a passenger seat lol.  I am thinking about just getting a piece of cardboard to sit the seat on to stop the runners getting cacked up.

Haha. Last time I camped at this campsite with the Briskoda lot the leather rear seats of my Felicia L&K served well for this purpose. They came completely out with the seat back and base still attached and able to support themselves.

yup maybe some light showers sat night, but egetting even warmer, its so bloody hot here already at this time I have the windows open!

I will probably arrive about 7pm on the Friday, have to be a quick tent pitch and then tea time! Are there many BBQ's going that I could pop a burger on? I only have a camping stove, which is fine for breakfast but less good for burgers!

There'll be a full bistro setup going for the whole duration from what I can gather

I've just got all the gear down from the loft... you forget how much stuff you acquire over the years!

It happens I'm meant to be in Scotland tomorrow. But as I've not left yet, I could drive really slowly tomorrow and finish the rest off on Saturday, fresh.
