Celtic eMotion Tuning Box for VAG, AUDI, SKODA, SEAT + many Others

Featured Replies

Fellow members,

I have for sale one Celtic Tuning (CT) eMotion Tuning Box with all cables & instruction manual.

To see if your vehicle can be programmed by this box & CT's discription of what it can do, visit here: https://www.emotion-tuning.co.uk/Switch.aspx   or read on below.

Once set up this is a plug and play box which can remap your engine via the OBD port.

Simple to do and set up:

1. Download most recent software from Celtic Tuning website.

2. Programme the box to the type of vehicle you are plugging into.

3. Plug box into vehicle OBD, read & save engine map to the box.

4. Email map to CT to be fettled with. (Fee charged)

5. Receive remapped Engine map back via email for your specific engine ECU.

6. Load new map into the box via CT software.

7. Plug into vehicle, write map to vehicle ECU.

8. Done.

To give you an idea of what is possible, I had a VW Golf mk5 2.0ltr PD GT TDi 170BHP & 258lbs.ft. I ordered the Fast Road map & had my car rolling roaded at 211BHP & 338lbs/ft & all within engine stress limits. I ran it for 3 years before I had to sell the car due to a growing family. I had zero issues with it or the car & the power/torque was epic. CT also do economy maps & track day maps, the latter can take the BHP even higher but would stress the engine excessively, so only to be ordered if you are planning a track day special.

The great thing about this box is that once the car is remapped, simply remove the box & the car looks standard, so no wires or boxes plugged into harnesses. The maps can be overwritten as often as you want so you can return the car back to standard whenever you want.

I would like £100 ono for it.

Cost me £420 back in 2009 - original receipt is included. I kept the box to remap a planned 2nd car which I never bought & as I do not see a need for one for quite a long time I have no further need for it. It is time for someone else to enjoy this box now!!

Any questions email me here or directly via personal message.

Thanks for looking.

Cheers

John

Was curious so just looked on their site... They reckon that my PD105 can be mapped to over 160bhp! I don't believe that for one second. Im sure the turbo and injectors top out at about 150.

I don't do the software or the mapping, but they reckoned they could get my Golf up to 235BHP without changing anything other than the exhaust for a track map if I wanted it.

If you look at the current tuners, the 1.6Tdi can now be had in base 2.0ltr spec with 150bhp & 250lbs.ft torque.

The old 1.9TDi was a reasonably bomb proof engine. VW offered it at 180BHP in the mk4 Golf GT TDi with only a few small mods to engine.

So give CT a call & they will discuss how it is done, or check out DTUK or the other car tuners in the tuning section to see what they get out of the same engine. You will be surprised!
