Leather Multi Functional Steering Wheel 3 spoke MFSW BRAND NEW:

Featured Replies

This is a very rare opportunity to get a BRAND NEW GENUINE SKODA Leather Multi-functional Steering wheel.

This wheel was removed from a brand new 2014 facelift Yeti for upgrade to a paddleshift wheel.

It is Leather with the luxury piano black inlay with the controls for radio & MFD computer.

Believed to be suitable for the following vehicles:
  • Fabia II (2009 - to date) - from Build date CL 22/2009
  • Fabia II Combi (2009 - to date) - from Build date CL 22/2009
  • Roomster (2009 - to date) - from Build date CL 22/2009
  • Octavia II (2008 - to date) - from Build date CL 45/2008
  • Octavia Combi II (2008 - to date) - from Build date CL 45/2008
  • Superb II (2008 - to date)
  • Yeti (2009 - to date)

It will very likely work on a whole host of other vehicles - I can only vouch for the ones I defiantly know it will work on.

Check the part number - if its listed as suitable for your vehicle then you're onto a winner!

Let me know if you want it?

Apologies for the thickie question - will this fit a 2014 Fabia TSI? Is it just a case of some VAG-COM coding to get it working, or are there more parts required?

  • Author

AFAIK it should be a straight fit. But I'm only going on the compatibility list I have seen - I'm not technical so cannot guarantee it.

Best to check with a dealer or specialist if you're unsure - or perhaps put a post in the Fabia section and see if anyone can confirm for you?

Would my mk2 fl Octy airbag fit this direct or would it need new airbag too?

Would my mk2 fl Octy airbag fit this direct or would it need new airbag too?

You would require an Airbag (if you need one I have a new one available)

Hi Eddie, have any ideea if this will fit a preFL Octi Mk 2? Not only physical but full working order of buttons also. Please PM the cost of the airbag.

Thanks

Pre-facelift won't work very well

Audio buttons will work, but trip computer buttons won't work

Any idea how the incompatibility would manifest? any lights on in the dash ? any errors on scanning with VCDS?

1. What exactly are the buttons on the wheel and what do they do, because I can't see clearly from the picture.

2. I have a preFL octi 2 from 2005, I intend to switch the column controller so it will support MFSW along with the existing Maxidot and autopilot.

3. I only saw an old generation MFSW that had controls for audio (volume and scanning I think).

Eddie, please PM me the cost of the airbag, and most importantly, if the steering wheel will physically fit on my car.

I kinda need answers for all questions above, I don't want to  but some paperweight.

Hope I made myself clear, because English is not my native language. :)

Thank you both for helping out!

No lights on the dash - if they're incompatible you may find some of the buttons don't work, or they control functions other than the label on them.

The controls are:

- Input source (radio/CD/media etc.)

- Radio Seek +/-

- Volume +/- rotary dial

- Voice control

- Telephone answer/call-end

- Trip computer/maxidot controls rotary dial & menu select

The rotary dials have secondary functions depending on the function selected.

Sent you a PM. Thanks!
