The times they are a changin'

Featured Replies

So after sticking with Honda for the last 16 years (and only two cars at that, a P reg Civic then a 54 reg Civic Sport!) it's time for a change, that change being to an 11 Octavia TSI vRS with only 21k on it and in immaculate condition. Needed a family car due to a recent addition and I refused to bow to all my friends' insistence that I'd have to grow up and get a thoroughly unexciting people carrier so this seemed to fit the bill perfectly :)

Someone recommended I sign up here and looking through I think it's a good idea, there's a lot I don't know and I certainly want to make sure this is going to last me as long as my other cars although it might need a bit more looking after!

edit: And how do I change my car information - it's not that one, that was just pasted in from the insurance info!

Hi Stefcha and welcome to Briskoda.

I think you need to post a few times (12?) before the site allows you to change details.

It's the site's way of separating genuine posters (such as yourself) from the one-post-spammers.

Go to "Off Topic" and join in the fun.  Soon get your post count past 12  ;)

Enjoy your Octy.  Sounds nice.

Welcome to Brisky and congrats on getting rid of the lawnmower

Thanks to the excellent community, we're pretty certain who's a spammer after only 2 posts.

But this forum does not count. Really should have a word with myself about that.

We still miss out 2.2 civic, nice feel to Honda's. Hopefully the VAG; SKODA, experience can equal and better it for you.
