Hi guys,

I'm currently driving an a seat Leon cupra, (even tho my forum name is VXR) I'm getting bored of it now and it's getting old. I looked at insurance and my Leon is group 34 and an octavia is 30. I'm looking at a 2006 FSI 2.0t petrol.

Can anyone give me advice on what to look for? Common faults, things to keep cash aside for?

The comment about timing chains don't apply to the year you're looking at, but check that the timing belt has been done. Also check the air con works as the compressor is prone to fail.
