I used flux years back then they got expensive but just insured my car for £400 stage 2, all supporting mods, suspension, wheels etc. I'm 32 clean license with m23 Manchester post code.

Try LV, esure and Admiral. Admiral were cheapest for me when I was thinking of getting a dtuk tuning box and LV just had a fixed rate for remaps, no matter how much extra power they produced.

Adrian flux here again..

All mods declared. .wheels/suspension/brakes/and a little bit more than a remap. . :)

Was by far the cheapest.

Adrian Flux seem pretty reasonable with mods, better than any insurance ive ever dealt with. My car was standard when I first went with them then I lowered it and the premium didnt go up. They do want you to declare it still though.

Brentacre have always been good for mine

I am with Brentacre and have found them to be very professional and friendly, as well as mod-friendly. You can do basically whatever you like to the car in terms for styling, brakes, suspension etc. as long as you declare it, but the bhp is the only thing that ups the price.

Last year with Brentacre I found myself a quote with one of the other modified/performance specialists which was £50 cheaper. Rang Brentacre up to see if there was anything they could do, got put on hold for a few minutes and they came back and said okay and matched the price. Same price and saved the chew of registering with someone anew. Always worth chancing your hand.

Try Sky insurance. Not the tv company obviously. My track car is heavily modified and they beat everyone else by a mile. Including that robbing flux crowd

To be fair to them they were the cheapest by quite a bit when I was looking. The thing that annoyed me with them was wanting photo copies of everything sent to them. Licence and proof of no claims. I'd never had that with any other insurance company.

The copy of the driving licence is becoming more and more common, due to people trying to hide their points and get cheaper insurance.

Maybe I'm getting old, but surely having to supply photocopies of stuff and proving this and that is a good thing in order to reduce the risk of fraud and prevening people from BS'ing their way to cheaper insurance by telling a porky or two? I'd much rather spend 15 mins scanning everything and knowing that I'm not breaking the law in any shape or form.

I'm getting screwed here like, with Chris knott and I'm paying 1400 a year now for the octavia vrs estate AND ITS STANDARD, yet I had a seat leon diesel remapped, lowered, alloys, exhaust and egr deleted and that came in at 670 ish.
