Does it matter how many times a question is asked I'd say leave it to someone else to answer if it bothers you so much and anyone else that is easily irritated by silly questions.

It doesn't matter how many times a question is asked however it just makes for a boring read.

I think some posts are purely to kill time and are from people who clearly have too much time and want some kind of interaction?

Whenever I have a question I check for other posts first. Most of the time I find the answer or some great advice before I have to post.

Imagine if somebody asked you for the time? Nothing wrong with that.

Now imagine 5 people ask for the time in a row. I question anybody who would not find that irritating?

See post #15,

If there are several related posts it doesn't bother me, I certainly don't find it irritating. I read the title, don't open it and move on.
