So we don't have to leave current tax discs in until they expire?

  • Saw a guy arguing that he wasn't getting his tax disc win a post office today. Even after he was shown a news article and leaflet on the changes, he was still kicking off that they'd stolen his disc

All sorted, Colin does my tax now!

  • Just installed my replacement tax disc.  Best hope I don't have to go anywhere in next 2 hours.

Is it bad I can't be bothered to walk to the car park and pull mine out?

There's mine out!

Felt a bit naughty driving to work with no rent in the window! Seemed like I was keeping an extra eye out for any police cars!

Mine was taken out last night.

I give it 2 days before one of my neighbors comments, he loves to point out cars with no/expired tax. This change will drive him nuts :)

Today's the day!

Mines still in!

Yup, mine came out first thing this morning.

Mines still in... Going to leave it. First tax I had that said 0.0 I want to remember that each time I rev the mighty 3 pot 1litre engine.

Don't suppose anyone wants a black or titanium tax disc/ logo holder* ;)

* If you do they are in the shop :D

In the peaks?!?

can you now remove your current disc?

If you do remove the tax disc from the windscreen, it will improve fuel economy by about 0.00001% :p

In the peaks?!?

Peak District :)

can you now remove your current disc?

Yes as long as it isn't the one near your wheels.

All 4 of mine will be staying in for another month or so

on account of me being half a world away and unable to

remove them right now.

PS. New Zealand is absolutely bloody beautiful.

Like a hybrid of all the best bits of the UK and US.

Peak District :)

Yeah. Thats where i live! Haha. Where abouts you off to?
