Alluminium pedals for Superb?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I just wondered if there were any alluminium pedal covers for the Superb II DSG? Something like the ones you get in the Octy and Fabia vRSs.... Would the covers from something like an Octy vRS DGS fit?

Sell them on Superskoda mate

edit: sorry its just the footrest

Yeah seen the Octy pedals on there but wondered if they fitted the pedals in the Superb. Could only find the footrest one in the Superb section itself.

You got your Columbus sorted yet?

Still waiting mate

Getting peed off tbh, going to phone them again

A footrest for the accelerator side while on cruise control would be even better. That is the only thing my Octavia had that the Superb doesn't. I miss it every time I use the cruise control...

I agree it would be better though I just rest my foot against the wheel arch.

The ones I bought for the Yeti had Octavia and Superb on the box too.

Oops :(

Might be the guinea pig...

The pedals really set off an interior, as they did on my last car (Citigo Sport)

Nice one Darrell

Although I do really like the look of the ones in my link.

Hortons are cheaper though... Group buy anyone  :nerd:

I fancy a set but cheaper price would be good.

I always think that's ironic - I had no cruise control on any Octavias but plenty of room to rest my foot!  On the safety side, I suppose it might make your response time on hitting the brakes a bit better, not having your foot on a rest rest

Hey Darrell, where did you get these?

The Superskoda Octavia II sets fit the Superb II and Superb II Facelift just fine. They also have a footrest available that is perpetually in "clearance sale" it seems - it sais they can come with slight scratches or marks.

I bought the Octavia II RS Pedals + Footrest, when they had one of their "20% on everything"-sales.Throttle took 5 minutes to install, getting the metal covers on the clutch and brake pedal was a bit toughter though. Footrest another 5 minutes. Beware, the footrest is LHD only!

Hey Darrell, where did you get these?

I did get mine from superskoda as they had 20% off and was ordering a few bits of kit.

Bickertons also sell them too.... And Bickertons usually do a discount of around 10% if you mention Brisky don't forget. ;)

Darrel..... Out of interest are all three just the metal covers or is the throttle the whole pedal too?

I seem to have got it into my head that the throttle is the whole pedal with the new metal cover attached rather than just the cover like the brake/clutch but I've just watched a youtube video showing how to fit the same metal cover to an existing plain throttle pedal so wondering which it is now.... :)

Youre right, the accelerator pedal is a total swop.

Cheers for the confirmation Darrel. Did you have to do anything with VCDS after fitting the new throttle pedal. I assumed it would be a straight swap and have seen a couple of youtube guides that just say to check the pedal works with the car parked up before actually driving it. But i then found a guide online that mentioned having to set up the new pedal with the ECU?!?!?!

They are mounted from the floor and no VCDS issues at all, a straight swap. When I got them the Superb was listed on the box.
