Leather on back of seats

Featured Replies

Hi,

New here and failed to find the answer in this forum, so here goes...

I'm just about to sign a contract on a brand new Oct3 - but I can't figure out whether to get the leather on the back of the front seats - I figured it could prove practical with kids with very often dirty footwear.

But I can't find any pictures of it anywhere... Will I still have the pockets on the back of the seats with the leather?

Anyone got it and got a view on if it's worth the extra few bucks?

For what it's worth, the UK spec vRS with part leather seats (which includes the backs of the front seats) still has the pockets.

No idea what spec you're ordering, or whether the Danish seats are any different, so my reply may be a little useless... sorry!

I have full leather and it had pockets, not sure about the partial leathers

Aren't the seat backs 'leatherette' - which from what I can work out is a non-1970s word for vinyl

Seats are only seating and back area nomore and quality is not as high as VW but it's not the same price, i'm a little disapointed about the quality

Pocket no leather.

- yep - it's not real leather, but didn't know the english term for 'fake leather' ;)

Yup the seat backs are vinyl. I was quite impressed with their resistance to damage having two hound kids. One of them tried to carve their name into the back of the seat with a broken biro, but actually it polished out fine much to my relief and benefit to my blood pressure!

Actually they're surviving to my three kids who keep pushing their feet and cleaning their shoes onto them.

HTH,

The only leather you get is the bit you sit on

Pleather :)

My Elegance spec has "part leather". the front seat backs are pleather rather than cloth, have pleather pockets and can be easily cleaned so far...

Having been looking at bike racks, the better option surely is put the kids on an external rack, drop the seats and put bikes in the car

As a followup,

I can confirm the pockets on the "pleather" of another non UK octy. I grab a shot but the interior is just too dirty to be shown anywhere :)
