Audi dealers

Featured Replies

It was that time again when I had to take on of our company audi a5s to the audi dealers for a service . I cannot believe the quality of the place, meet and greet you as you drive in call you by your name give u unprecedented attention, never wait to get booked in,get free tin of sweeties that are bloody nice, kitchen area full of cereal bars coffee tea cans of pop all free . Upon collection they get someone to bring the car to the front of the showroom all valeted whilst the service desk guide you through the work, they walk you out to your car and open the door and hand you the keys...amaze balls. BMW and Skoda VW etc just treat you like a t@@t.

U do know u are on a Skoda forum?

Daggers out, boys!

Lol

I prefer Lexus dealerships myself! Lol

You let them 'Valet' your car?

It's a works car from what he's said!

That's odd as when I was last buying a new car, the Audi dealers were the worst of the lot that I tried. They must have been taught to be always busy and certainly managed the 'It's us that are doing you a favour' approach off to a 'T'!

Merc ones are as bad and need an award for 'mostuptheirownarsedealer' IMO.

I recovered an a4 into my local Audi dealer and when the receptionist went to check the car over I was offered a coffee but hadn't got time,

so they put it in an Audi branded thermal mug to take away, that's good service.

The Audi dealer in Leeds is the reason I bought a Skoda.

Lol I think their great . still,I wouldn't buy a car off or ever take my car to a stealer.

Cant fault my skoda dealer all of the above that Audi offer apart from cereal bowls. Car always washed upon return as well. Car always brought to me etc etc . I thought this was standard practice.

Ultimately, do they actually know what they are doing? If they do, that's one up on my local Skoda dealer.

Have met some utterly ****tish Audi employees and some good ones. Have also heard some real horror stories from reliable people.

Have also experienced the total opposite.

BMW are nothing short of lovely when I take SWMBOs 116 in, despite it being the cheapest car they sell.

Every manufacturer has good and bad dealers. IMHO it's the big chains that produce the worst service and Skoda is now sadly mostly owned by big chains.

When I was looking to change recently I was considering a Merc until I found out all the local ones had been bought over by Arnold Clark. That put me off even visiting. Might be unjustified but it comes from prior personal experience.

Sorry working on a 'nix laptop today and for some reason it doesn't want to put in line breaks

I have some terrible times at our local Audi dealers - 40mins wait for a prebooked test drive appointment while staff looked about and chatted was the worst and  they seem very reluctant to sell cars.  Our local BMW seem very friendly and organised as does the VW garage. The Skoda garage is OK.

sounds just like our local V dub dealer--wouldn't be  on the same industrial area-perchance?

Never had a problem with Poole Audi, the service has always been great when I needed it. Despite my 10 year old car breaking down, it was fixed by Audi free of charge, the service advisor went through everything that was done, the car was spotlessly clean and vacuumed.

I was just stating that audi leeds seem to be on the ball regarding customer service,I take best part of 30 cars in their a year . Also take them to many other dealers in the area cause I'm in charge of 125 zenith fleet cars . no one in the area comes close . and back to Skoda which is dm Keith they just plan ignorant never have anything ready when it should be and rarely have time to wash it,don't offer customers a drink . just bloody poor imho.

Crewe?

Never :x  :giggle:

don't know about other dealers, but my local one collects the car from the wife's work and delivers it back washed and hovered out they  do this for everything don't matter if I'm paying or not

Having bought my first ever new car from DM Keith in Leeds this year, I will never be returning. Love the car though.
