Now plans to start with anyway.....

First off remove the 16" Team Dynamics and replace with 17" Spiders

Bleed the front brakes, adjust the handbrake (sits way too high for my liking) and do a oil service.

Fit Whiteline RARB

Give the car a damn good clean inside (mainly) and out.

Take some more photos....

nice car that, quick too :D

This is doing the rounds :)

Does look sexy in white. Is this the one that had the orange cupra r wheels on?

Ahh brilliant you've done a thread :)

Back in the day yep, my old one by the way, got it completely standard there's my old thread somewhere ' project marmite '

Be good to see what you do to it. B)

Glad it went to another brisky member. Look forward to the updates

Got yourself a lovely looking car there. Wanted it so bad myself but I can't really have three cars. Will look out for you as your quite local to me.

Thanks everyone, looking forward to making a few alterations.

Yes Danny I'll be on the lookout for you as well, need to give the car some exercise.

Small update LED number plate bulb replaced as old one was flickering... had the handbrake adjusted and garage said may have faulty calliper or cable needs replacing.. so another job pending. Will try and get this done for next weekend. :)

Small update a few more things crossed off.

I will be changing both front and rear discs and pads soon. 256mm at the back of course.

Oil temp gauge wiring needs to be checked as it flutters and isn't lit up some of the time.

Some door switches and odds and sods appear to be quite loose and need adjusting at some point possibly.

Rear brake discs picked up now, thanks Clive. So 256mm rears to be fitted this week. :D

As will the new 312mm for the fronts and new pads, new fluid change and just in time to wear in for Brands LOL.

Oh and just over 200bhp from todays rolling road event so all should be ok for next Monday. Must find that clip for the pipe near the alternator to affix that properly. :)

Was nice to meet you earlier, the car looks great and the graph was nice and smooth

Thought of a wide mouth to increase air flow to the FMIC?

Not sure I like the look of it TBH and at this stage enjoy it for a while and see what's next on the agenda. Being dropped off at the garage today for the brake upgrades over the next day or so.

Another update and not a good one..... the car has 288mm front discs fitted to it... this obviously caused a bit of an issue trying to fit 312mm discs because the carriers were incorrect and hence pads couldn't be fitted. Rears fell foul of the brake plate cover, which I forgot about, so all in all a very bad and extremely irritated mood for obvious reasons. Now debateable whether I'll take this around Brands Hatch as I thought the brakes were slightly crap before, blamed fluid and bleeding previously, but now I know why.

I could take the Octavia instead... so debating that at present as wet weather... crap brakes equals a world of problems.

Some good news... my new wheel caps have turned up for it... yay... if only I could stop the damn things LOL.

Fancy taking my Clio? Need to get the average speed this tank of fuel up a bit on it. 834ef1972608e4c3ab2fd8f01d0b2e4c.jpg

Edit - I blame the dodgy seller ;)

LOL, push it?

Got the RARB fitted too :D

I've got some 312 carriers you could borrow until you source your own?

Oh and you need to modify/ remove the brake plate/ dust cover thing on the rears. Angle grinder is your friend :)

Aye or fit the Octavia one :) and elongate the holes ;) Yes I was doing my Google bit earlier when the garage told me about the issues.

Does make buying an S4 more attractive.
