HI all

 

I have a 1.9TDI that has now done 148K recently had issues with EGR being caked up with soot which i have now stripped down and given a good clean and was wondering apart from obvious oil changes, air and fuel filter changes, if there were other things I should be changing or looking at regularly during services?

 

Also one of the things that has seen better days is the breather hoses, but can't seem to find a decent place to find replacements that won't break the bank. Any recommendations?

Think at 148k every egr will be caked up. There is only one breather hose. Do you mean the charge air hoses or the 3mm vacuum hoses?
