No problems with my home pc thats backing up onto DVD+RW media

No probs here either. I use DVD-R, DVD-R DL & DVD+RW media.

If you use a good brand I'd imagine you'd be ok.

id rather backup to tape personally

What you do is get 7 dvd's and use one each day of the week and over write it each time.

Or do it properly and lable them monday to thursday.

Use these each work day

Friday 1 - 4

Use Each friday only

Month End

Used on the last working day of each month.

At the month end stage I take the media that has had the most writes and rename that month end. then put the new media in the place of the one I have just taken out. Then store it for 2 years.

Cheers

Lee

You'll be able to store 8.5-9 Gb on the re-writeable DL disks but they will be expensive.
