Did anyone one else order an accessory for there new Octavia before even taking delivery of the car?

Featured Replies

I may be sad but I don't care ...I have ordered the carbon rear load protector and I haven't even got a firm date for my car! I don't care.

Look on it as an early Christmas present. That way you won't feel a saddo.

Not sad at all, however it will make the wait that little bit harder  :D

The missing mudflaps and a spare wheel - nothing else!

Just some car mats

I ordered a load protector too.

Is it easy to fit mate?

To coin the Blue Peter phrase, sticky backed plastic. :)

Yes, peel off the backing sheet, stick it in place. Of course, certain precautions apply, clean contact point, get it on straight and central etc. etc.

I've ordered roughly £8-900 worth. All LEDs, interior bling from super Skoda, 2x dash cams, rear guard protector, key ends.... So far it's all turned up before the car....

Errrr, I bought a Briskoda sticker.
Does that count?

In that case then I will get my mate to fit it...otherwise it will end up on the steering wheel.

I had Rubber Mats and a boot liner weeks before getting the car.

I ordered a boot liner at the same time as the car and the dealer had fitted it for me.

4 Briskoda stickers (got carried away), dash cam, Rearguards rear bumper protector, Nordic Wheel trims for the winters, bonnet gas struts (cough cough Keechy - the car will be here before the struts!), front mudflaps, a pipe, a brown cardigan and some tartan slippers.

Ha ha, the l&k is a bit 'team brown' isn't it.

I've bought some more detailing gear too now, prob around £150 worth. Only thing left is tinting when the car turns up (sunset glass not an option on lower models in Australia)

Yep, I couldn't wait until Christmas for the matching cardigan and slippers

I'm thinking a Paisley smoking jacket for driving at night - what do you reckon?

Black gloss roof wrap; not sure if that counts though!

I've ordered:

Tow bar and eletronics

17" Venus Winter Alloys with Michelin Alpin 4

Flat Bottom MF Steering Wheel with paddles

Black exterior mirrors

Black grille surround

Mud flaps front and rear

Briskoda.net stickers

Mobile phone holder

Garbage bin

Rear view camera

With any luck the car should be here before February

I ordered and received an on-board driving style correctional aid about 11 years before I got the car, she's called the Wife !

I'm guessing a 32Gb SD card to chuck some music on doesn't count... :D

More or less - i'm living in Denmark where you pay for three cars when buying one. Retrofitting what ever is possible makes the final result much cheaper. And I have been waiting since mid July, so i've had plenty of time to think of new stuff to buy.

Hopefully mine is being built next week!
