Bumper protectors for estate

Featured Replies

We ordered our Elegance Estate (Pacific Blue TDI2.0 4x4) on the last Saturday in October and to our surprise the dealer has said it has been moved forward and will be built week 51. Obviously this is good news, but the main reason we went for an estate was for our dog, so I want to protect the rear bumper as soon as we get the car home.

To be honest I preferred the hatch but with that you only get a parcel shelf not a retractable load cover and taking the parcel shelf in and out would be a pain. Wish you could get the loadliner on the hatch like you can on the Prius that the Octavia is replacing.

Can anyone advise a good bumper protector product that fits well, looks natural and does not interfere with the boot door etc. to protect the bumper from a golden retriever's paws and claws? !

I have just fitted the rearguard one to my estate today, very good quality and excellent fit, had one previously on a vw passat, also fitted my rear parking sensors.

Thanks all, ordered!

There you have it, conclusive proof that only A rated porn stars don't have rearguards !!!!!

my pacific blue elegance estate 2.0 tdi 4x4 has been moved from week 51 to next week :-)

hopefully be getting it in December now (which is handy as the head gasket failed on our Seat Altea)

I now have a rearguards black bumper protector in the garage, waiting....

and hopefully soon a rhino boot liner, and dog restraint and rubber boot mat turning up soon

what extras (if any) did you go for?

Here are some photos of the Rearguards protector I have just bought for my Octavia Estate L&K. It is the same as the one just fitted by andyvee whereas his is matt black and mine is the carbon look.

The picture with the red strips shows the tape position when fitting to the bumper of the car.

I'll post a picture when fitted but I am still awaiting delivery of my car.
