Anyone else had a similar problem?

Off to the dealer tomorrow.. :rain:

Hmm, not noticed it, but I'll have a check in the morning!

Probably just a badly placed seal (hopefully).

Might go check mine now!

Ok, this is ridiculous, I dont have these issues, hope you get it fixed soon.

No, it's way too low! You need to fill it to cover the white part and then only add the goldfish. Adding the goldfish at the current level is animal cruelty.

A friend of mine had something similar on her Passat, as long as it doesn't touch anything electric it's just annoying, It's probably a seal or they'll just replace the unit.

Looks like your tail light fluid is a little low there

Might go check mine now!

That was exactly my first though too...

I would push them to replace the complete light unit as you never know where the water (and condensation when it heats up) has got to.

You don't want to be going back in a months time with corroded contacts.

Your picture shows the clear part misted up & running, so either the water build up is causing that or the moisture getting in is collecting in the lower light cluster causing condensation. Either way I would want it sorted so a dealer visit looks on the cards.

Rear washer reserve!

That's a replacement job, no doubt about it.

From my previous experience - VAG's policy is that condensation on the inner surfaces of any of the lenses (front or rear) is to be expected and is acceptable due to differences between the internal and external temperatures of the lenses surfaces, unless such condensation forms into... I think the word they used was 'transient' droplets... which physically run and create streaking on the inner lens surface or the pooling of water in the lens.

Have had one rear light and one headlight replaced on this basis due to exact same problem.

LOL! I wondered if it could be some in-built incline sensor...

Dealer visited - new unit ordered.

Good to hear they've done the right thing by you!

So new light fitted.

Had to take time off work to get it sorted because all their drivers had been made redundant last week so could not collect (this is not a good news Skoda story..)

New condensation apparent in the new fitting today.
