Make sure they check the right part of the car for damage on the car, we had a hit and run, they checked out a friends car lot for paint on the bumper, it was the wrong bumper but they do some action mostly

I have better things to do that spoonfeed the police in how to do their job.  And I doubt they'd appreciate the assistance.
