I never thought about the heated seats being removed... that is a shame!

I was looking at the engine bay picture thinking... Whys the yellow brake fluid cap beside the airbox... Oh yeah... :p

Looks another well spec'd one anyway pretty much everything on it.

If we're including all the LHD ones there will be hundreds.

Those are pretty rare in the Eastern Europe though. I'm saving a few to upgrade from my Comfort MPi but ... there aren't that many on the market.

I've just read some rummors saying that Polo 9N maxidot board would perfectly fit into the Fabia mk1 instrument cluster component, which sounds pretty good. The downside is that the immo might be a pita if not disabled. Has any body tried this?

Had sunroof, maxidot/sat nav, xenons, ESP and heated seats. He didnt like the satnav so had them remove it before he collected it.

Pretty sure it's just as rare on the polo isn't it?

Who cares, it's rare and unreliable and looks horribly dated, I don't understand the fuss, never did, less is more when it comes to instrumentation.

I've seen it in quite a few Golfs which are going for no money at all - i did pose the question a while ago on whether its easily done to retrofit one, seemed from the comments as a bit of a PITA.

I went on the hunt for one because it 'looked right' and after having it for a few months decided much as you say, it's not really any good for daily use, the nav is very very basic and dated. In years and years when I get another Fabia as a long term 'keeper' I'd possibly hunt for a car with it fitted but in reality it's not that great.

The nav is crap tbh. Only plus point for me is a better radio!

Stop saying it's crap I've just brought one! :P

:D mines alright..

It does what's needed but nothing more. The newer sat navs are just alot better that's all.

With the trims in the wrong side, now is that possible :D

so much extra effort needed to fit them on the wrong side!

Nice one Lee.

That makes 21 in total then.

17 vRS and 4 non-vRS

Surely you mean upside down since they're clearly chiral.  :p

Has anyone ever retrofitted a maxi dot dash?

Seems the one I linked to on ebay went for a very meagre £175. The maxidot was worth at least that on its own.

Has anyone ever retrofitted a maxi dot dash?

Yes. But it's ludicrously expensive for very little gain.
