Yes on the Auto Service.

& i let sleeping dogs lay.

My 2003 47,000 mile Suzuki Gearbox which is the same,

has not been touched since its 3 Year Service was done at 30,000 miles or so.

Oo, russian roulette. How exciting.

Service records are not that comprehensive, just stamps unto 2011 or so.

If the mileage is correct then all is well.

Good Antifreeze is important, & the engines are pretty good for longevity.

 

Mine got good ATM Fluid,

it has no moisture in the Box and is used really only for Towing or in Cold Weather, occasional use, and it would be changed but

i decided it is not required.

 

I have another identical Gearbox in an Older Jimny and it has had the Gearbox Transmission Fluid Changed.

but that is because it Wades and was getting a hard life offroad.

4 days in and less than 100 miles, it's thrown an ABS light.

Ah balls!
