BEARDS!

So I was on holiday and being a  lazy I only shaved once.

 

Coming back from holidays I had no razors. Went to shopd and forgot to buy them

 

Now I've not shaved for 11 days, probably the longest I've ever gone for 20yr.

 

So now the question is.. now that beards are unfashionable again is it time to grow a big mofo hairy chin?

 

Right now I'm passed the stubble stage and working through the pre-beard / tramp / Egyptian taxi driver stage.

I've not shaved for a week. Never tried growing a beard before so I might go for another week to see how it looks

I'm passed the itchy bit now although it is ticking the corners of my mouth.

 

SWMBO starting to hate it, which is a plus coz I do like to annoy her

Hmmm.  Suit some people, others not.  Thin line between awesome and awful.

 

Me, no.  I look wrong and it does not help that in the middle of it grows a ginger streak like a lightning flash/Opel badge......

I last had a beard nearly 30yrs ago when some burning under seal dropped into it and set it on fire, I ran around squealing like Homer Simpson whilst slapping my face vigorously. Dangerous affectation is your beard.

Cant say Ive ever had this problem myself lol. However imo beards only look decent on certain individuals lol

I have been bearded for about 3 months now after a bout of illness (keeping it trimmed to 8mm length).

 

I rocked up to the office half dead with a beard and all the admin girls said it suited me, so it's stayed.

 

Wife hates it, baby loves playing with it, toddler has no opinion either way...

Don't get much on my cheeks, annoyingly, but it looks better than being clean shaven. I look like a child when I shave. Haven't been clean shaven now for a couple of years.

I grow one from my birthday (mid October), to my daughters (April), but have it as a goatee


I invariably end up trimming it after 5-6 weeks, as it gets too itchy

However in early 2013, I had a full one for a while
