Hi Thinking to taking the plunge on a VRS

Featured Replies

I "Should" be replacing the current ride in the near future, and naturally as I adore the latest design, the VRS is on my hit list.  The quick question, do I save the company a few hundred and add sat-nav after? is it a simple SD install from a certain "bay"?  It seems too good to be true almost,,,,

Then onto the car itself, Well!!!! to me it would probably be silver against my instinct of Blue,,,,,, but am intrigued with white pearl, any thoughts on the white??

Thanks you all for any advice.

It won't save you any money. The sat nav requires both a new box in the glove compartment (with 2 sd card slots instead of the one with Bolero) and a new head unit. Not sure if anyone's actually found a dealer willing to do it either.

Can't help on the choice of colour...I went for green!

Ahhhh, thats great info as Audi is a simple card upgrade no hardware etc!

I do love the bright colours green and yellow but as a business car I have to be slightly careful in the old colour aspect!

Apart from that how is it? everything I read tells this is by far the most "complete" VRS yet and a bit of a weapon

I got the moon white. I think it's the best option in A us (we don't get the cool colors). It seems like a fairly typical "fleet white" but with just a light silvery sheen that adds a little interest.

green, excellent choice, replaced my mk2 vrs rally green with the mk3 rally green,

AA road map, never loses satellite signal and towns never move round the country, so it stays correct for years without updates.... and go black....

If you've got a smart phone, stick co-piot on it. It's with you wherever you go and whichever car you have, forever with free updates. Just need window mount.

Green is my colour, it stands out no matter how dirty it gets

Metal grey, looks nice hence why i ordered it ;-) Makes the car look classy imo and suits most tastes come resale. I had the columbus along with many many other options. Been stung on this retrofit later thing in the past. Thought about race blue but been done to death imo, sorry race blue owners. Daring is met red or is it corrida red? Only saw one vrs in this colour and it looks the dogs testicles!

It was metal grey for me this time purely because Race Blue is a standard colour and everyone seems to go for it DSC_0020_zpsjyet35gk.jpg

I'm not familiar with all British expressions so if you don't mind me asking...is that a good thing or a bad thing?  :D

Looking like the dogs danglies is actually a good thing!
