You're correct, it wasn't. However, I'd not long bought the car and intend to do ~20,000 miles a year, and whilst the belt had only done 20,000 miles, it was 4 years old, so due changing.

I was under the impression only the early fabias were smf,either way it is worth fitting the smf whilst you have the box off.
I recommend using a g60 flywheel with sachs vr6 clutch.
