Well cant believe have owned the car over a year and noticed a button behind the interior mirror , When i pushed it in a green light appeared.

 

As i finish work at 1am when a car appeared behind i dont know if it was my imagination but the head lights appeared green.

 

Was it or what had happened ??

Auto dimming rear view mirror.

Green means it's on :)

    Yes took long enough to find, it has lots of extras looks like car behind was green made me chuckle.

    I now want to install a button connected to nothing but its integral LED and make it look really inconspicuous, just to baffle the next owner.

    They have that fitted as standard to BMW and Audi's. It's called the indicator stalk.

    have you found the button on the  B post, for the alarm sensors.

    Yes i have seen the alarm button where are the sensors located do you know.

    Next to the button on the mirror?

    Is that the slot next to the green led on the mirror

    One of the sensors is in the interior light panel.
