Busy!

I really want a project car. But current financial situation says no.

Must be patient.

Anyway talking of cars we watched 2 Fast 2 Furious last night (like veryone else we're re-watching them all). How did they get a sequel approved after that one? I remember it being silly but not that bad!

I can proudly say I have never seen any of the franchise :D I'm more of a Vanishing Point, Le Mans,  <whispers> Gone in 60 Seconds (great name for a car in this movie), type of gal

  • Jason Statham impresses me with his high kicks. He trained originally as a dancer apparently.   What do you make of this? Fascinating I thought:

  • Holdens are common around here.

The F&F Films are alright in a brainless cheesy exploding kind of way.

I quite like Vin Diesel, Not for his acting or his looks (nice body) but rather his voice is lovely :) and he is named after a type of wine made from petrochemicals from what I can make out :)

Strangely, SWMBO says something similar. Jason Statham is her other favourite so I suspect she will enjoy Furious 7.

Yikes I think my head is going to explode. I imagine the machine tolerances must be incredible to make that all work, it doesn't look very efficient at the crank replacement swivel bit. You would think there would be a lot of friction and wear? But  I bet it sounds amazing. Bonkers, but in a good way :) 5 cylinders, 3 spark plugs but fires as many times as a 6 cylinder. My head is making a buzzing noise every time I try to imagine all that :D Bet if it works, the big companies will find a way to sit on it until one of them owns the patent for it.

Never seen it before but it looks amazing.

NZ based too. No updates on their website since 2013 though. Maybe the men in black helicopters paid a visit.

You would like the Vitara. Honest little car with modern Suzuki DNA, eg great value for money, decent handling and a spot of fun built in. the spec really is amazing. Panoramic sunroof, LED headlights, Collision avoidance breaking, Radar adaptive cruise, 4x4 selectable drive system with hill decent, reversing camera,  Cruise and limit of course, and a genuine 50mpg plus car (claimed over 70 is possible,,,,yer right :D ) And many thousands of pounds cheaper than a Yeti with similar spec. It isn't quite as plush as a Yeti, but it has ground clearance that supposedly beats the Yetis (only by 5mm though)  And it has my favourite thing, a Centre Diff Lock (equivalent anyway)

I think his finest moment vocally is in The Chronicles of Riddick. It's the only film in which I consider him to be an actor, dahling.

I disagree, I would say his finest moment is Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Fast and Furious 7 was actually pretty good did exactly what it said on the tin, also quite a good send off for Paul Walker

I thought the driver that went to the rescue was quite brave and certainly quick thinking. Then when he pulled the driver out, I though you muppet, they will almost certainly be badly injured. how wrong was I!!
