Blueflame system fitted today :)

Featured Replies

Had my blueflame full system fitted today...

Firstly, I was told the car would only be an hour or so when I first rang last week. I arrived at 9.20 am this morning, and left at 2.30 this afternoon. Not best pleased. Be aware that this is the time it took for fitting without complications, and the waiting room is ok, but not for several hours

Anyway, it was worth the wait. I chose a different tailpipe which looks good. (will take a piccy tomorrow) The fit and finish are excellent.

The drive home......... :D :D :D :D :D

I can't put into words the pleasure I get from the noise which I am unable to describe. There is a definate performance gain, not just a placebo effect, and at motorway cruising speeds ;) there is no intrusive booming noise, in fact it is no noisier than the oem exhaust. When you boot it though.......... Never heard anything like it in my life. Awsome.

I would HIGHLY recommend this exhaust......

Wish I'd come to see you a week later now :D

What did it cost you? Look forward to seeing the pics, which pipe style is it?

Hi Steve, tailpipe is oval, fits the cut out perfectly in the bumper.

Ooh oval, liking the sound of that. Bit like the Leon Cupra-R? Think that would fit in perfectly....

Will take some more tomorrow, but this gives you the idea....:D

Ooh yer git, I'm jealous! I'm still waiting for the highflow cats to come in for the Octy full system so I can get mine done.

Glad you're happy with yours, looks sweet

Tail pipe looks very nice. Was there no increased noise over the OEM because the OEM diesel clatter in naturally loud ? ;)

Nice. :) I'm still amazed at how loud my mongrel "system" is on full chatter. Having no cat in at all, and the high flow backbox makes for a really nice loud rumble.

I like the oval design too - I came close to buying a whole backbox & oval pipe from Ebay recently to replace my twin pipes, which don't really fit the vRS bumper cutout that well.

assume you kept your standard cat..??

you think the noise is nice now you wait until it cokes up then the noise chnages..for the better

Piccy's taken in daylight.

Nice! what other disigns have they got?

Any chance of doing a sound clip? Please ;)

Nice. Is it a complete system from front to back or is it just the backbox and pipe?

looks really good, suits the bumper cut out well

If you don't like installing quicktime get Windows Media Player Classic

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Media_Player_Classic.htm

and then goto

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm

and install that codec. They also do a Real Player Alternative codec from the same site. Comes in handy if you don't like installing RealPlayer & Quicktime as those programs do tend to try and take over your machine and install a load of crud which is a high price to pay just to view a movie now and again.
