If Skoda are interested in Motorsport Heritage & getting Publicity & Media Coverage,

then they have the best car for Victories in 114 years history with the S2000 Fabia.

Now they are rallying with the 2015 Skoda Fabia R5

So surely they have the Body Shape, they had the R5 Homologated, it has no connection with the actual Road Cars which are 

Front Wheel Drive and with a 90-110PS Petrol or a 3 Cylinder diesel 1.4TDI engine.

 

So they have the parts, they have the VW engines to use, they maybe need to stick where they had success selling cars.

Small, Light & VFM road cars, and some with actual Speed & Handling Ability.

Not sure what 'Genes' that Skoda speak of in their Press Releases were used where.

The R5 has nothing to do with a 2015 Skoda Fabia 3rd Generation Fabia that Skoda sell in

showrooms other than the Body.

More related to the 333 Audi A1 Quattro Limited Edition & 2014 S1, VW Polo WRC-R Limited Edition related,

used to get FIA Homologation for the Volkswagen Groups Current Rally Cars.

Not sure on those lights!

If you cover everything bar the front and look qt it, it could going backwards.

Cover that front end and the rest looks decent imo...

Put a 2l TSI in it, bring the ccost to 27ish grand, different lights and its a Skoda TT

Reckon it would sell like that

Skoda could have been on a winner i believe if they had gone with the 'Joyster',  and had a Sporty 3 door car in the model range,

 

But VW went with it as a Sirocco and sell very few.

IMO it looked good as the Skoda Joyster i would have bought one.
