Name what's currently 'wrong' with your car at this very moment...

Featured Replies

Ok not my original ideal....but taken from a BMW forum!

I've currently got a bit of rear passenger door trim that's sticking up. Almost like its popped away from the clip.

Very annoying as I can't get it to stay down! :@

Apart from that, the only other thing is its very, very, very dirty!!

Dashboard light / MDF telling me that the left rear reversing light bulb is gone.

Well known signal (See Superb 2 forum) that the wires in the tailgate are starting to break up internally from constant bending as the boot section is opened / closed.

I'll cut / splice etc. when the weather gets better.

Low fuel pressure so the acceleration + idle is horrible

ESP light on constantly so I need to figure how to fix that

1 side light needs replacing

Spoiler lacquer has peeled away and looks horrible

Trim under my handbrake has a big hole in it somehow

Rear drivers side window doesn't work properly

Rear windscreen washer won't squirt fluid

Tracking needs to be re-done

...So not much to fix up before I sell it then

Bloody burning oil. Likely rebuild on the cards

Now suffering from well documented problem of displaced airbag shield in side bolster of driver's seat moved and distorting the shape of the seat.  Car is out of warranty by almost 3 months.  Has any one else had this problem outside of warranty and managed to obtain a contribution from Skoda towards the cost of the repair?

I see the beginning of another good 'moan and whinge' thread:

Rear doors need resealing, an indicator bulb needs replacing, one tyre is very near the limit, a warped disc so new discs and pads are needed and I need a 'sticker' for the spoiler (had it relaquered) to stop the aerial rubbing when I open the boot.

Oh where do I start....

Lets start at the front number plate and end at the tow bar cap. Actually the tow bar cap is new, so thats OK.

Literally nothing.

'tis a Honda though

Being picky will need new rear tyres and rear disks this year.

(However I'm royally ****ed now I've written that)

Water pump bearings are super noisey, not going to get the spanners out till it breaks completely.

oh and the power steering pump is leaking too.

Outer CV's clicking on lock, glow plug replacement time, due a service, slight flicker on maxidot, mpg down - suspecting injectors as slight misfire at tickover, LED light in O/S mirror not working since I changed the window regulator  :@

Erratic fuel gauge and speedo (between 30 and 70) slight water leak, stereo screen doesn't display properly, no aerial reception, useless handbrake...

Wrong colour, and my new head units sat in the boot!

Too many seats, the wife has to come   :S

Too many seats, the wife has to come   :S

isn't that what the boot's for?

Roof gutters rubbers are degrading causing paint on them to crack, maybe time to finally get my roof resprayed and rubbers done at same time.... Also both rear tyres near legal limit :o

isn't that what the boot's for?

:wait:

Squeaky brakes

7 weeks into ownership of a 16-months-old Roomster.....

After 1 valet, 2 Vaxes, 4 air fresheners and 4 bottles of Febreze, I can STILL smell the previous owner's  :swear:  fag smoke  :@

That's despite those lovely people at All Electric (King's Heath) replacing all the seats before sale.

Lacquer peel on spoiler should be sorted with my boot respray under warranty

Need need discs all round all abit pitted

Newest fault today located the boost leak [emoji20]

It's about 2000 miles overdue its service, needs a new cam-belt as it's 4 years old, needs new brakes which are sitting in my bedroom at the minute, rear wiper keeps jumping, really annoying, front wipers just smudge at the ends, creaks going over bumps when setting off so may need new bushes? The center air vent trim is half off from where I tried routing the GPS antenna and couldn't get the trim off or back on again, the front passenger door trim under the window is sticking up at the back from when the black vinyl part was replaced, there's a dent on the back right door from when the previous owner had it (small dent, typical car-park door dent), all the windows are scratched to death as well as the bodywork being swirled from when the previous owner presumably took it through one of those automatic car washes but replaced the brushes with scouring pads and flaps of sandpaper, the drivers door has a chip in, the rear bumper has a scratch in the top part, and the bonnet as about a dozen stone chips in it But apart from that it's absolutely perfect.

Handful of stone chips, scuffed paint on the bumper (not caused by me) and two other small areas where the paint has been damaged.

It's only a year old :(

Also its now filthy on account of driving it! Haha

Absolutely nothing at all!!  B)

currently having an engine transplant (oil consumption) free thanks to wonderful skoda and my extended warranty.

Ha, where do I start!? The E30 has no interior (dash, headliner, carpet, seats), one window is jammed down, one has the regular sat on my side at home, with the glass stuck in the door. There's a hole in the bulkhead after a bodge from a body shop, the wing/bumper/body kit isn't fitted, half the labels on the wiring room have become illegible, the coolant system is in pieces, the steering rack is putting up a fight during replacement, I can't work out how to mount the cruise control ECU, stalk, or actuator. I'm sure there's more though! What is working? The rear lights! And the engine does start/run.

330d daily: clunking noise from the driveline on less-than-smooth gear shifts - I think it might be diff backl ash.

Don't let Jack aka Toxicvrs see this thread :notme:
