So how good have Fabia MK3 sales been in 1st two months post launch?

Featured Replies

I do not even see that many on Briskoda that have a new 2015 putting the car up on the Owners Register,

but surely there must be more than 33 on here with one.

Skoda had all the build up to Launch, all the Hype and Awards, and then fail to get cars delivered promptly to private customers

and even these Fleet & Hire cars they will have Registered to have decent Sales Figures for Q2 & Q3 in the UK seem not to be out and about on the roads.

Only seen two mk3 Fabias on the road down here in Cornwall. Feels like they aren't really selling.

i've seen about 4 or 5 mk3s including my own in Milton Keynes

2 in Race Blue, one in the dark grey and one in denim blue, all hatchbacks, no estates.

Could make that 5 if the Rallye green one gets on the driveway soon.....

I am on the road a lot and have only seen around 5 to date.

Surprising really.

No doubt in a few years they'll be everywhere just like the mk3 Octy is now.

Surprisingly seen a few. I'd guess probably 7 or 8, 5 of which in Hereford and Worcester (spend most of my life in the area) saw another 2 on my journey to Banbury a week or two back.

Haven't seen any around my local area, could be why my dealer is offering a contribution of £1000 if the car is delivered by the end of July

Just come back from West Wales, where I noticed far more on the roads than in my home area, both estates and hatches - probably noticed well over 10 in two weeks of holiday motoring. I would observe that there do appear to be more around in general as sales are made (as you would expect!), but the fact that the hatchback doesn't stand out from the average hatch and the estate resembles the Octavia, means that it is very easy to miss them amongst other traffic which affects the subjective statistics from this sort of poll.

Because Skoda changed the names of trim levels for the Fabia with the new model, looking on the HowManyLeft site gives a reasonable idea of numbers being registered. A new quarters-worth of stats will be uploaded there soon so we'll be able to get a better idea then.

The Belfast Mini dealer has lots of nearly new Minis and they are exceptionally ugly in a way that the first iteration of BMW's Mini was not.

Aren't they just. Only rivalled recently by the back end some versions of the new Merc A Class. They are repulsive

What Fabia names are the 2015 Q1 & Q2 cars coming up under?

EDIT,

Cheers found them.

One thing that I became aware of when pricing up a Polo 1.2 SEL against an Ibiza 1.2 FR was, that VW were contributing £3K I think if the buyer was taking the car on finance, so orange wheels, drivethedeal etc looked like they were giving amazing discount, curiously I found the Ibiza prices unbeatable so asked on the Ibiza forums if an update was imminent - the general answer was "no", but sure enough a month later the 2016MY details were released. I'm just pointing out why some prices can seem unbeatable to anyone that has not twigged to why that could be. Nothing wrong with run-out models if that is what you want.
