  • And possibly my favourite capture so far......

  • And before you start giving me a hard time, I am a huge fan of the Reds and have the privilege of seeing them far more often than most, and much closer than most as well.   And occasionally I get to

  • Sorry, Mick, I can't get enough of them

You're welcome, Andy

Thanks, Alex

Mixture of Nikon D7000 and Sigma 50-500 zoom and Nikon D5000 and Sigma 150-500 zoom

And yes, I have got too many big zooms :(

If I get the 50-500 spot on their fine, but I find the 150-500 more reliable for accuracy

Is nowhere sacred? Can I not escape from them anywhere? This is a car forum FFS!

The third and fifth were straight off the camera, the other three were cropped, but thanks for the comments :)

But still great being able to get such sharp close ups is impressive :)

So did you go to Cyprus or were you lazy and just went up the road then Bryan? :D   Nice shots though.

I must admit we in the Lincs area can be a little bit underwhelmed by the arrows because we see them so often.  In fact when I was working at Nettleham Police HQ I saw them several times a week.  I was on holiday in Cyprus and my wife at the time woke me from my afternoon snooze on the sunbed with a shout and when I looked up she pointed out the Red Arrows in the air.  Have to say I was not impressed!

Having said all of that I do think what they do is amazing and they are good to watch.

Where's Cyprus? :)

I think they ended up in Greece this year due to issues in Cyprus

Sorry, Mick, I can't get enough of them   :)

Me too.  It's such a spectacle, and I never get tired of watching them  B)

I shall be up on Beachy Head again in August, taking shots of clouds, blue sky, the last 4" of a tail, and if I'm really really lucky, most of a red arrow!

Great photo's Bryan

Cheers, Gaz

Seeing them perform over water is on my bucket list, but they've cancelled Cleethorpes this year :(

Seeing the Vulcan over the sea at Weston air show last year was pretty impressive. Sadly I'm out of the country for this year's one.

I'm just too far from these decent seaside display sites......must make more effort :(

Cheers, Gaz

Vulcan's dropping in on Saturday 15th. Just in case that can tempt you with a trip daan sarf.  Watching it bank around Beachy Head last year was awesome.

Do you do B&B too? :)

Well I was listening to the news on Lincs FM when they came back home and one report said Greece which I thought to be strange and another said Cyprus which confused me but hey who expects news teams to get anything right? :dull:

Do you do B&B too? :)

If only. I've two adult offspring I've yet to extricate  :notme:

Garage is dry, but you'd have to share it with the mouse who's taken up residence in one of my boots.

Plenty nearby though.  And if you like a bit of a treat:

Great pics as always, Bryan. Comments; The sky wasn't blue enough :D

Hopefully the Vulcan will do Bournemouth again this year. Was great last year.
