Brisky Racing - let's go racing!

Well done on passing the test!

Pull up at the race with the fast Yeti towing the trailer with the ST on the trailer.

I think you need to put a sticker on the back window of the ST which says :-

"My other car's THAT Skoda Yeti, & this car goes faster when towed by it!"

Just to mess with the minds of the following drivers!

Tactics you see..............       :D

H*11 yeah!

Congrats matey. Yours definition of fettling definitely is different from mine though. When I fettle the car tends to look distinctly like a car rather than an aftermath.

Just remember that rail-sliding on the Armco normally means that you're off the circuit! ;)

That looks very comfortable.... No wait, that's wrong,

Do they do a bench seat, cause I'd only fit one cheek in there.....and that's with a push?![emoji2]

Pure artwork IMO. What does it weigh Richard?

3.5kg for the seat and a bit more for the two optional soft pads.

Runners are around 1.2kg on top.

Engine work.

Start with new, port the head and cut in bigger valves. :)

Steel crank, it's going to rev!

Tuning a NA engine, not done this for a lot of years! :D

My aim is to get round Brands in under 55 seconds.

At 300bhp last year my Yeti RS was 3 seconds slower.

Nothing like having a target! :)

Congrats on passing.

I may have missed it but when is your first race likely to be??

I think a Briskoda supporters area needs to be set up to cheer you on. Donnington is my favourite track nice straights and great corners

Same day as a Classic Sports Car race, nice, or is that what you're running in?? B)

I'm sure you will get plenty of helping hands.

For info:

I am more likely to make a fool of myself at Donnington due to:

Little experience in the car.

No racing experience.

No experience of that track.

So while supporters are appreciated it might be better to wait a bit. :D

Although I will need a few pairs of hands each race in the mandatory pit stop, to drag me out of the car, slam the door, open it and throw me back in.

Any help there would be greatly appreciated.

Bet plenty of people will be willing to lend a hand.

Last one I did was a mk1 Astra for a mate. Old school car, only thing was I misread the tappet settings and set them up back to front hehe. 3 weeks later he blew the bonnet off it at 90 when he threw it into 3rd forgetting it didn't have a 5th gear like his daily. I laughed like a drain. [emoji2]

Would it be possible to invade someone's track day and familiarise yourself with it?
