I seem to have quite a lot of what I think must be rainwater in the offside rear light of my 2011 Superb Estate. It gathers like condensation, so don't know if it is that rather than rain. I have taken the light out, removed all the bulbs and had a good look generally, but can see no obvious damage. The nearside rear light is fine. Has anyone come across this before? Thanks in advance!

Yep. Had this before. Rubber seal stopped working after I replaced a bulb. Rain water getting in when driving. If that doesn't work drill a very small hole in the bottom of the cluster to let the water drain out...

I had this problem, mine wasn't sealed properly on the top.  I dried it out and then sealed with some silicone and it's been good ever since (over 18 months now).

I have some silicone grease so I'll take all the bulbs out and apply some to all the seals and see if that works! Many thanks for your replies and advice.

yes, had the same issue recently. I took mine for the NCT Test here in Ireland and they failed it over the condensation inside the light cluster. I drilled two small holes at the end of the light and dried it out with a hair dryer. I'm on the look out for a replacement cluster from a crashed superb. A new one from Skoda is €140

If you find one let me know, I had one fill with water after a suspected shopping trolley collision. For now its ok with a drainage hole drilled and some sealer on the damage.

will do. Any breaker yard I called said when they do have them, they cost about €40

same as above, had water in mine after replacing bulbs. Took it off, and dried it in the sun for a few hours. Removed and cleaned all the o-rings on the bulb holders. Didnt have silicone grease so put a smear of vaseline on the bulb holders too (not sure if this is recommended!). No water inside after that.
