Your car came on the boat that mine is coming on.

I have a tracking number and can follow the ship. Unfortunate mine takes a bit longer, as ours is the 2nd last stop.

The ship has now left Spain and is on it's way to South Africa. Three stops in South Africa, then another two stops in Australia before it hits the dock in Sydney.

Ordered mine on the 24th of May.

 

Given the array of different time scales people are reporting I am not getting my hopes up that I will see it before Christmas.

Hi all, first post for me and enjoying the banter on this forum.

SE Exec saloon 150 manual, colour maxi dot, parking sensors. Candy white ordered end April have spent a long time thinking about colour since and on Tuesday this week changed to Moon White and was then told this change has moved the build forward by five weeks! Result due early August but will believe it when I see it.

Picked up my car today!

L&K 280 Combi. It really is a beutiful car and it is frighteningly fast

14 weeks since ordering, so very good prediction by dealer of 12-16 weeks.

Only driven for 3 hours today but looking forward to some serious motorway driving tomorrow

Thought I'd share our experience as the car is now at dealers awaiting PDI before release to us next week.

Car ordered 16th March.

Unconfirmed build date given 30th March as being week 21 (end of May)

May 16th. Advised car was being built 'as we speak' so 2 weeks early.

June 8th advised car arriving any day.

10th June car at dealers and awaiting PDI, will be mine by Thursday 16th  :|

Very nice. Looks very similar to what I ordered (on 13th April) but I went for black.

Was a little worried that the Pegasus alloys would look a bit small but your pic has reassured me as they look really good. Should have been built 2 weeks ago so just waiting for a call later this month hopefully.

Seems quite a bit of variability; I ordered mine 17th May & got build week 35 (last week in August). Delivery probably a few weeks (3-4?) after that?

Thanks, yeah I was pleased, I din't realised until I started looking through this thread how long it could have been.

My car was finished last week (build week 24) going from factory 15 June to Germany and then to Norway (Bodoe). I believe delivery in week 29.[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

From Australia it goes to Yokohama Japan. It gives no more information after that, so all I can assume is that it will go back to Germany and start the whole thing over again.

Delivery on mine now pushed out to 30th June, which will make it 4 months delivery, if it turns up...

I placed an order yesterday with my local dealer (Superb Estate 2.0TSI 220ps DSG L&K, petrol blue + black leather, smart light assist, heated washers, spare wheel) and was told beginning of September for delivery -- TBC when the order is entered into the factory system. Went for PCH because new employer will be paying me a cash allowance, local dealer was actually slightly cheaper than leasing company -- maybe because as the supplier and PCH arranger and service/tyre supplier they can accept a little bit less margin?

Was given a delivery date to the dealer yesterday of August 26th, which will mean about 12 weeks order to collection.

Just ordered this by a reseller in Sweden:

 

Combi, style trim (Swedish variant), 150BHP diesel, 4x4, manual. Business grey metallic, black leather/alcantara, towbar, smart-light-assist, park assist 360, heated seats (front and back), bad road package, kessy with virtual pedal, electrical seats in the front, aux heater, amundsen, Canton, optical park assisst, etc. Almost all options available in other words...

 

Build week: w25.

Delivery week: w28-w29.

 

Confirmed MY2017.

 

Right now 8-9 weeks before delivery

 

Car is built and awaiting transport to Germany and then by ship to Södertälje in Sweden and road transportation to the dealer.

Estimated delivery of w28-w29 seem to be valid.

Got my reg.plate today. I will probably stay away from English speaking countries since it starts with COK

It's parked outside our house on a transporter lorry- but the driver isn't allowed to let it off the truck until the designated delivery day- tomorrow...

 

Had a quick look in- looks like a MY16 from the look of the screen/rear view mirror
