New PCP Deal on VRS Diesel Estate - Best Deals Out There

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I'm still looking for a new deal on a new Octy VRS Diesel Manual Estate with several factory options on the 0% PCP £500 deposit contribution offer. I'm currently on this same deal with my current mk3 VRS diesel estate (63-plate). I've rung round several dealers, looked at the brokers and it's a minefield! I only have £300 or so of equity in current vehicle but can put down 3-4k deposit. I'm doing 18k miles per annum so GFV at roughly £8752.

Problem I'm finding is the best discount I can achieve on new vehicle through PCP scheme on 0% finance with part-ex is 7%. Can anyone recommend any good dealerships to do a deal with? I don't mind where it is-prepared to travel to get right deal.

What sort of discounts have people achieved on the 0% PCP scheme with a Part-ex? Would be interested to know so I know whether or not I'm being unrealistic or not.

Many thanks for your help.

Have a look at a pch, keep the rest of your deposit in the bank, you wont get the 500 quid, but overall saving over 2years over a pcp is more

Cheers for the tip, will look at that.

Rainworths in Mansfield,160 mile round trip but beat my local dealer hands down who is only a mile away

Normally I would agree with Auric, but my dealings with Rainworth so far have included:

- Them putting the wrong plates on SWMBO's new Citigo after the PDI

- Begrudingly  giving SWMBO a quote for a vRS hatch 12mths later as they didnt think she was serious

- Switching my service interval on my Octy vRS MK3 without telling me

- Refusing to rotate my tyres on my 10K service whilst the car was up in the air as "probably wouldnt be time"

- Go down there during the 0% weekend to find the site was being part-demolished for a forecourt upgrade.

Since you are in Manchester, head west down the M56/A55 and go visit the Lightcliffe Skoda / SEAT dealership - They were a pleaseure to deal with when I got the Octy.

BTW - 7-8% is about right on a 0% PCP, as the dealer part-funds it :)

Right thanks for the tips guys, the dealership recommendations I'll look into and expected discount figures at least coroberate with what I've been offered. Cheers.

Just done the same with a new L&K (although didn't have part-ex) I got a great deal - £387 per month over 3 years, 20,000 miles per year

Sorry, meant to say this was PCH and not PCP!

Initiall payment? on PCH it's all about the overall deal :)

Sorry that would help!!

£950 initial deposit, but £450 of that I negotiated as dealer contribution, so really it's £500 down from me, then £387 a month for the 35 months after

Who did you deal with (sales wise) out of interest?

That's nearly 14k, and?

Less than 50% depreciation for the first 3 years, there are a few on a PCP that would like those numbers

297 pcm fully maintained (inc tyres). 6 + 35. via arbury. great deal.  I'm sure i don't need to quote Paul Getty at you...
