  • The point made earlier about the cost of these cars is important. I recently picked a brand new Seat Toledo S 85 for £10,642 with three years free servicing and 0% APR finance through a broker. Throug

I have had both a Seat Toledo (S Spec) and Skoda Rapid SE Connect in the last 3 years each with the 84bhp TSI engine  and have found both to be admirable considering the price I paid for them.I had th

  • It is strange - I absolutely love "Roger Rapid", my 1.2 Sport.   Yes, it doesn't have the "bells and whistles" that my son's Ocatvia VRS known as  "Kermit" has, but then Roger's price tag was half tha

I'm more surprised skoda is 3rd. All of the VWAG have suffered in recent years in terms of building to a cost. The MK5 Golf wasn't as well put together as the Mk4 and its the same (in my opinion) with all manufactures. Lets face it most car these days are of a high standard in terms of driver convenience and reliability - thankfully there isn't really a BAD car (Brand/model) these days, admittedly there is the occasional minor issue but how many of us get up in the morning and wonder if we'll get to work cause our cars don't start?

The motor industry has come a long-way!

My experience of the Rapid has been nothing but positive; so much so that I have just traded in my S for a Sport.

We bought ours as a second car runaround - we have three young kids so boot space in particular is important to us.

When I was looking around there was nothing in my price range for the mileage/age I wanted which provided a large amount of space in a modest-sized car.

It's cheap as chips to run, the TSI engines are superb and our local dealer is great.

Three, is that all?

If you stack them carefully head-to-toe you should be able to fit at least five in the boot. More if you take the parcel shelf out (but I would leave it in place, helps to muffle the crying and screams when you go round corners). :)

I've also found this method helps with the arch gap at the back end!! Looks about 60mm lower with a boot full of kids :D hahahahah
