configuring vrs

Featured Replies

Cant get my head round configure on Skoda web site.

It doesn't list Bolero nav.

MY 16 cars have the larger screen, yet website still list 5.8" screen on Amundsen.

Is cruise standard on VRS? as its listed as an extra

The Bolero unit does not have nav, only the amundsen and columbus unit have nav, Cruise is standard I think, its adaptive cruise control that is extra

Cruise & lane assist is now standard on the vRS.

Do all Amundsen and Columbus units have Nav? It doesn't list Bolero as a an option. Is this the standard unit if nav isn't selected

Bolero (6.5" screen) is std on the VRS. Amundsen is a Bolero with Sat Nav and a £755 option on the VRS. The top of the range Sat Nav (Columbus with 8" screen and many other extras) is also an option on the VRS @ £1600.

Cruise control is std on the VRS but Adaptive Cruise Control is a £765 option.

The June 2015 brochure (download at SUK site) is easier to interpret than the online configurator. Hope that helps.

Hi

Local dealer told me that the Amundsen nav was standard on the My16 vrs, for a while the configurer was making you select a sat nav unit.  may have to confirm with the dealer before ordering my next car.

I'm sure when they were offering Amundsen free a couple of months ago, the configuration thing still asked you to select a sat nav, but when you clicked on Amundsen it wouldn't add anything to the list price...might be worth checking that?

The free amundsen deal has finished I think.

End of June was the "free sat nav" upgrade.

Dealers didnt charged me for it on original spec. This was 4/7/15

Doesn't surprise me dredge3.....The whole YM16 is a bit of a joke. Brochure often doesn't help, I'm to be honest not 100% sure of what spec I'm getting.......As long as it comes with the options I've paid for.

One thing is confirmed no CD player :(

Just an addition, drove my car at night for the first time yesterday and it has adaptive headlights which I didn't spec too. No highbeam assist but can be turned on with VCDS.

How was it?

Ive had my car for 3 months, but Im still waiting for darkness so I can test the lights (because of the midnightsun).

Very useful actually. In sport mode they are very responsive, perhaps a bit too juttery. Much smoother in other modes. Don't think I'll need to have the cornering foglights activated with VCDS now... The bi-xenons are great!
