Looks like the Amundsen with the 8" screen.

Since I have the iPhone CarPlay, is there anything to be gained by buying an SD card as well do you think?

that looks well smart mate.  I'm really tempted with the VC retrofit like.  Just in terms of ballpark numbers, how much would I be looking at to have it done and is my only option to have it done by the dealers?  Mine's a 2017 Sportline 150bhp model, same entertainment unit as yours in the pic above.

I used Tyrone at Cartechnics (https://www.facebook.com/cartechnicsuk/) VC and steering wheels buttons were supplied for £850 and £120 respectively. This included the coding etc. Had i been local to him he would've fitted for the same price. As i have the Canton sound system i needed to buy a fibre optic splitter which was about £15 on ebay. Fitting is fairly easy if you're used to working with your hands in cramped dashboards! The hardest part was running the fibre optic from the cluster to the MIB in the glovebox.

You'll also need a working vas5054 if getting coded remotely

Not my car, not my pics! Just wanted to check what you guys think of the 19" Vega Aero wheels? It's a free option on the L&K but I haven't seen many around. If I go for a white Superb L&K iV, I think these would go well with the black parts (grill, windows...).

I found one in white with the Vega Aeros. I like the black and white look, but I finally decided on a Lava Blue Superb with the Canopus Silver wheels.

you will probably also need a facelift bit of trim that goes above the steering cowl to fit it properly. Also it can work with MIB2 head unit, but if you have mib2.5 , the mib2.5 units can send the whole satnav map to the virtual cockpit which is kinda cool. It still works without that function on mib2 headunits

Same as you. Ok for 4 doors lower part. but not fully convinced by the rear door edge.

How did you get it working, did you have to use a rooted phone to have it visible in AA menu?

I tried installing it, but i'm stuck with finding a way to make the Performance monitor visible in the menu, it needs somekind ow workaround if i understand correctly.

I tried it too and concluded that you need a rooted phone. Went half way in that process and then decided it wasn't worth it, but not before I managed to wipe my phone completely.

If there's a way to do this without rooting it would be great.

Just wrapped the car to make it looks a little special: the small corner on rear door (IDK how to call it), and the buttom parts of all the doors (under the original black trim) .

The blacked corner makes the rear window and door looks longer than before. It gives the car a kind of 4 door couple proportion. But on the other hand, it looks a bit strange, especially on a close look. I'm still not sure whether to keep it.

The wrap on the buttom of doors is quite subtle, but it does make a quite nice contrast. I like it very much.

That's really interesting, gives it a very BMW look from the side in my opinion

I am Chris from Sweden.

Have my third kid on the way so we needed a bigger car. The superb was the best option to avoid getting a mini-van 😂

I think it is one of if not the best looking station wagons out there.

This one is a 190hp diesel with four wheel drive. Laurin & Klement equipment an black leather.

I am going to do a little tweaks with it this spring.

Spacers to move the wheels out a bit, chromedelete with plastidip and removing the text from the trunk.

I am undecided between a Stage one mapping or a pedal box.

I'm a little concerned with the longevity of the DSG.

This is how it looked when I picked it up:

Welcome @Katarsisto Briskoda. Nice car to start your Skoda journey with. Usually a custom map gives around an extra 40bhp on a modern turbo diesel and that is the route to go down having done it many times myself. My last stage 1 map on a diesel saw it climb from 147bhp to 186bhp and torque go from 246 to 317lb/ft on a 2013 Octavia 150PS model. Your 190PS engine should make about 227bhp or 230PS and over 500nm of torque.

Thank you buddy!

That is the same numbers I have seen.

Its the 500nm I'm worried about since the gear box is on its "max" capacity already.

I know that there obviously will be a margin of safety built in but I'm not sure if I am willing to experiment with it.

It can easily become an expensive thing to learn the hard way 😂

My last 2 petrol engined Skoda's had 517nm and 514nm to cope with a Vrs245 with 6 speed manual gearbox and Superb 272 with 7 speed DSG and had no issues with either covering some 38,000 miles (60,000km) since 2017 until buying my current 150PS diesel which may get the treatment if I get bored with the 135mph top speed.

Did they have the Dq250 like mine?

No the 272 had 283bhp as standard to deal with so comes with the beefier DQ381 from the Golf R but it only had 369nm as standard so had an extra 145nm of torque to deal with but apparently they can even take 600nm. Not sure what the limit on your 6 speed box but people on here have already done this work on similar cars to yours.
