The Superb III Picture thread

Has it got one of those infinite bhp tuning chips - giving length contraction at speeds close to the speed of light? But only from my frame of reference?.

Sorry- about to teach this...

See it's got proper exhausts. None of that fake stuff.

Nice seats, so much nicer than SEL trim.

Looks awesome, so jealous mine hasn't come yet, your headlights make me wish I'd ordered mine with SLA , the supernovas look cool too, did you say they came with Bridgestone potenzas fitted?

But it will soon so don't worry!

I had no idea about the lighting options to be honest, just knew the campaigned Sportline (in Sweden) included SLA and lots of other stuff as standard, hadn't even ever seen a Sportline in the flesh till yesterday... Yeap, Potenza S001 were on it, they don't seem as bad as I remember them to be on the Clubsport on my limited drive so far.

I'm writing a post about delivery and first impressions at the moment...

PS. Need to update my avatar :D

Just got my 272 and it had the Potenzas which I'm glad as the reviews seem to suggest they're a lot better than the P7s

I'll be happy with the potenzas, if mine comes with the pirellis I'll get some Michelin PS4 or if the Goodyear asymmetric 5s are out by then I'll go with them, always had Goodyear's on other, faster cars

Running 225/40YR18 Pirelli P Zero's over winter (Michelin PS4S in summer) and they are ok when they are warmed up. Good economy recently despite coping with 336bhp going through the front tyres. Last 3 commutes 42.0, 40.8 and 40.4mpg.

First dinner last night, you can certainly "feel" the move to a 66L tank  :D  Absolutely love it so far

See you were being very careful not to damage the new Supernova's. Hope you put the good stuff in the tank.

More like saving them for the next owner as I am putting on my favorite ones this Friday  ;)

98 always of-course, except from when being in Germany where I profit from Aral 102

Thanks, I surely am!

Forum newbie checking in with my new 2.0 TDI DSG Sportline.   My first Skoda, and it blew away an A4, Passat, V60 and PHEV in the drive, space and looks category when it came to choosing.  Totally delighted and blown away with it so far, honestly can’t think of any way I’d improve it, except for possibly heated seats and a panoramic roof.  Since I got a £4.5K discount on a pre-reg though, can’t complain too much I guess.   Delighted to be here, looking forward to it.

Signed up just to say that looks lovely!  We've a 272 Sportline Plus Hatch on the way, on the Supernovas, but went with Business Grey.

Thanks!  I had almost the exact same colour on my previous car but already finding it suits the Superb a lot. Business grey should also look pretty good, I just prefer the darker hues!

If I had a choice, I would have liked a dark pint green or dark blue colour to be honest, but I can't complaint too much with the quartz grey either.

Welcome .  Your car looks great .  A car the size of the Superb estate really shouldn't look good in white...but it does, especially in Sportline trim.

Don't worry too much about heated seats, the Alcantara is nowhere near as bad as leather, on a cold morning.  I'd say the front sensors you've got are far more important :)

Like mine except heated seats were included but no pano roof.

Skoda newbie here, picked up my new L&K 190 DSG on Tuesday.  Really impressed with it so far, it’s 3 years old with 56k but you wouldn’t know it, the interior is literally like brand new - not a single mark anywhere!   I think the last owner was even more fussy / fastidious than me!

It’s certainly a lot of car for £20k less than list price.   I keep finding more features every day.   I’ve had BMWs, Passats and Audi’s previously and this certainly beats them all for value and space, and the interior is a very nice place to be...

Very nice, I particularly like your number plate as you can join my fan club as you have S-H-Y letters on there LOL. Welcome to the forum.

Haha thanks, the great people on the forum have already helped me out with buying advice, and yesterday I ordered some mats and other bits from Superskoda, thanks to a tip from a member on here.  Great to be here!
