I am in love already, what a lovely ride, still "running it in" so no crazy speeds or acceleration yet.

Congrats!  I love that colour.

Looking at the pics, I wonder why my (also Swedish) Sportline saloon came with front mud-flaps from factory (which I removed), and the L&K estate didn't, it would make sense the other way round?

Very true, I would actually like the mudflaps, went on some country roads this weekend and they would have been great to have. :D

Thought of selling them but at ~200 SEK new (or at least that's the price from Skoda Shop) they're probably not even worth the time to package them and stop by some Postnord office :D

Did yours come with the full set of rubber mats for front, rear, and boot or I got those for free too?

I got rubber mats as well, ordered mine in late november on a deal. It did not say that rubber mats would be included so maybe that was just a good will thing?

No mat for boot but I did get the net that can be pulled up between the back seat and the boot. Not sure i like that as it is on a bar which means i cannot fold the two connecting seats without also folding the single seat in the back. I think I also got foot rests for back but not entirely certain that that is what they are. Two small "pillows" (but hard) looks a bit like a speaker...

I havent looked at it properly, maybe it is detachable so I can have the two seats down while the single is up.

Sound completely random. I think all these items are good will gesture as you say but up to each individual dealership to decide which ones to offer? My only explanation.

I got the full mat set, but I especially appreciated the one for the boot: https://eshop.skoda-auto.com/cz/en/b2c/protective-boot-tray-superb-ii-3v5061170x  as I find it absolutely necessary on all cars I've had and on the Golf I had to buy it separately for 755kr...
No such net or pillows for me like you describe but! in the boot I found the netting system https://eshop.skoda-auto.com/cz/en/b2c/netting-system-superb-ii-3v5065110ax  which I have already found very useful, with all that space back there. I would actually recommend it to anyone that didn't get it with his car, it's adjustable in a many ways too.

Yes probably, I will probably get a rubber mat for the boot as my other car does not have it and is very hard to clean.

My L&K Estate wasn't specced with floor mats, but it came with front and rear ones anyway.  Wish I'd thought about the boot liner/matt though... had two years use without one now.

I wish the MKIII had the rail system that the MKII Superb had.  I find the nets really not as good as the rail, and the hooks are just fiddly and awkward.

Hooks are great in a Fabia Hatchback, far less so in a Fabia estate. Pretty useless in the Superb, they are also too high for a typical shopping bag.

Never used the net supplied, can't see it being of any use tbh. And not yet tried the velcroed dividers.

I keep 2 large cardboard boxes in the Octavia 590 litre boot. Seems to stop stuff rolling about and only time they get removed is to make way for the holiday suitcases. No velcro, straps or rails just a simple solution.

I doubt the net system is meant to replace the rails anyway, they are different systems with benefits in different occasions. For me, the nets have so far proven ideal for most of the small daily stuff that I usually need throw in the back: Various bags, crates etc. They even held a rim in place recently without allowing it to slide sideways. A rail partition system would have not been of much use in the above cases as it would still allow that sort of stuff to slide left and right, but just in a more limited space.

However, I can see the need for partitions in other cargo scenarios so a combination of both would be the best.

I kept them in their bag for the first days as they didn't seem important, then a friend who's been a longtime user of that system in his car came and showed me couple of different ways to arrange them and he was actually right, they do help with the minor daily stuff in my case. You can attach two of them by the sides left and right and then hand your bags from the hooks while not allowing them to swing for example. Also I find the "lying down" installation is great for the smaller stuff. Guess it depends on what you usually carry.

Try Tesco large shooping bags or similar, I use 3 or 4 of the hooks every week on my Superb combi without any issue, wouldn't be without them now!

Re the hooks... I meant the hooks on the nets, not those folding hooks on the car itself, which I do find useful :)

Still loving my Superb after owning it for nearly a year :inlove:  Done some little changes to it but only cosmetic!

Did you have to post one with the same colour as the one I'm getting?! Now I'm longing even more for mine!

I always think cars with black alloys look as though they've just run through an oil slick!

Looks like the cops deployed the stinger and it's running on the rims with the brakes so hot they are white hot. Only a Romanian people trafficker would think that looks cool.
