Octavia SE L spec

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I've ordered mine which should arrive mid Seltember due to factory fit heated windscreen and front seats. I don't see much written about this model yet. Has anyone got one yet or are we all waiting for the new registration in Seltember?

Yes, had mine since May.

Good model, if you look in the picture gallery you can seek pictures of it.

Very good spec,as it was one of the first 16my cars it was specced with ACC and Park pilot as standard build. Think they called it SE-L plus pack.

Amundsen is great, radio fine, overall a god well built car

Thanks for that. Just looking at your spec it appears to be the same as mine. 2 ltr and DSG gear box, in racing blue. it's my first automatic. Did you pay for the Apple iPod connection thing? I forgot, and hope that it will plug in on the USB connector.

New MY16 cars will just plug straight into an iPhone without the need for a specific connector. Just your standard usb one will do.

Does the heated windscreen appear on your order form? I've just ordered mine with winter pack but only the heated seats and washer jets show on the order.

The dealer insists that it has been selected but I'm not convinced.

Just checked my order which shows winter pack and a cost of £500. It doesn't go in to any other details. I was assured that it was heated screen, washers and front seats. And it best be too! Ordered it through DM Keith in Huddersfield.

Have you tried the online car configurator, that will give you the options and the cost for those.

The isn't a winter pack on the online configurator but there apparently is on the dealer's computer. I'll ask my dealer to confirm in writing so they can't argue that I didn't request it.

Bought mine mid-July from Skoda UK stock, says SE L on paperwork, ELE in service book etc. 2.0 DSG, probably ordered April. Fitted free ACC and Park pilot. Spec is exactly as SE L. Don't know date of change from Elegance to SE L but haven't seen any difference in last six months. SD card from FL Elegance which had read errors in Bolero works fine in Amundsen.

Got mine July, 1.4 TSI with smart link, ECC, Park pilot and ACC. Very happy with it

Yes - We have the same on our order, the total cost of heated seats and heated screen and heated washers is £600 on the configurator. Interestingly you cannot have heated screen without heated washers and vice versa. The winter pack is a dealer option as you say and just makes it easier for them, and upsells the heated screen and washer for those who choose heated seats.

A quick call to your dealer will confirm this - or alternatively you can call SUK and at the same time get them to confirm your build week.

I ordered mine through them. They haven't a clue when it comes to specs. Ring skodauk to check. I had to. My winter pack was £600 (inc front seats)

When did you order?

My winter pack was £500, same as other poster. My order was placed 5th June.

I ordered 28th June.

It would seem some Winter packs are also equiped with a tube of KY jelly !!!

I have been looking at the configurator, it seems very odd that you can't just pick the Winter pack, you have to choose heated screen and washer, then it tells you you can't have them unless you choose heated seats and vice versa! Why not just have Winter Pack and state what is included.

In the brochure that I have it is shown as Winter Pack, £600.

You can have the washers and seats without the windscreen but you can't have the windscreen without the other two.

I have got confirmation of a build date yet, can Skoda UK still check?

Odd how the price seems to vary dealer to dealer.

Perhaps I didn't try it that way round? It seems a bit perverse as I would far rather have the heated windscreen than heated seats, we have them in our ancient Volvo, but never used them even when new and when we did have cold winters. Just didn't seem worth switching them on. A heated windscreen so that front and rear defrost quickly would be great. Our cars have to live outside and on frosty mornings the sun doesn't reach the car until mid morning.

Same here but Wakefield branch. He had no idea about the car. I found out more about the car, here in 10 mins.

I asked if head height was restricted with sunroof "NO" it is. I have to lower seat to the floor every time I get in after wife. Memory seats next time

I think the difference is the VAT? £500+VAT=£600

Ahhh - penny drops - DOH!

Now irrelevant post....(make sure I look at second page in future!)

I'm coming from a 4 wheel drive so any extra time saved in defrosting the screen will instead be used to dig and salt a patch of road. I'll need a running start up the hill outside my house if we happen to get any snow this year.

That's a bloody good price for an SE L, is it hp or pcp? You have more extras at a lower price. (I rang round loads of dealers and haggled like mad)
