Back in a Skoda Superb after about a 12 year gap, this time it's a 280 L&K and it's such a nice comfy ride after my last rock-hard Hyundai "N" thing but it's equally quick.

 

I do find the wheels ghastly, they even protrude more than the tyre walls making them next to impossible of staying free from kerb damage. That said the wheels alone are not enough to spoil everything else about the car.

Those rims are among the ugliest ever designed for this model, in my opinion. Being looks, is a subjective matter.

When I was selecting options, I knew if my chosen car had that design, it would be something to change right away 🤪

2019 272 Sportline. Quartz Grey metallic (which I love). No extras as far as I’m aware, but spec is plenty good enough for me. 
Reckon it must be one of the last pre facelifts registered as it was reg on 30th September 2019. 

It seems Quartz Grey is the most chosen color 😁

Got to be honest, I haven’t seen another one on the road. Seen black and white and red. Seen Business Grey. But not Quartz.

Back in a Škoda after a two year break with a petrol MG ZS (was a nice car, my one worked, but was increasingly feeling mine was the exception rather than the rule so moved it on while still worth something). Had one of the first Rapid Spacebacks in the UK and kept it for over 8 years before trading it in against the MG. Lured back to both Škoda and regular height cars by a 2023 Superb 1.5 TSI SE Technology. A Škoda UK management car and one of the last made before the new model took over the production line. Was 11 months old when I got it at the beginning of June. It’s a hell of a car.

Here’s our new family fun bus. 
It’s a 2019 L&K 272 TSi.

I haven’t really had a chance to tinker with it yet but initial impressions are all good.

It needs to go into the bodyshop for a spot if rust under the tailgate glass, I don’t know if that’s a common issue?

But we have a holiday in France to contend with first so I’m looking forward to doing some miles and getting to know the car. 

Picked up mine this week, moving from a 2014 Octavia VRS.

72 plate Sportline TSI with panoramic roof, DCC (can't tell what that actually does) and funky black wheels. 

 

No rear parking camera so that's getting fitted next week.

Just back from holiday and car cleaned this morning so adding a couple more of mine as have now added mud guards and spacers. 
Love the new stance, the spacers make such a difference. 💙

3 Weeks ago today I bought a 24 plate MY23 Superb 1.4TSI IV SE-Tech spec with 38 miles on the clock, approx £14k off list price. Now back from holiday with 1800 miles done, loving the car. I would think it's one of the last Mk3's registered, imported 29 April, registered 30 May.

About two weeks ago I purchased this 2.0 Superb Estate SE 150PS DSG.

 

I'm finding a huge difference with everything, and loving the smoothness and luxury, aswell as the obvious change in available power under my right foot compared to my old 2.0 VW Caddy Maxi Life 105PS.

 

Beautiful color, it was among my favorite options but could not find a suitable one ...

I bought this car in August 2023 as a used car which is a Laurent&Klement crystal. It was on 40.000 km and it is now on 67.500 km.

Although it is a L&K it does not have heated windshield and virtual pedal.

 

Until today i made a professinal add pacc(predictive adaptive cruise control), predictive pedestrian protection, tsr (traffic sign recognition), activate navigation.

 

Although i am generally content with the car the “trim noises” in the canin bothers me. For example clicking, rattling,  vibration, crackling etc. noises. Of course i have to admit that this not totally occurs because of the car, the roads also contributes to problem. 

1.6 TDI SE L Executive Greenline Estate, seems to have a few extra twiddly bits added like heated windscreen and 4G LTE, also a manual gearbox which I was pleased to get.
Always promised myself a Superb when the Citroen finally had to be retired, yes, I know the 1.6 is a bit underpowered but it suits us as the main consideration was the space in the car.

Thought I'd say hello, just joined the world of Skoda today after 13 years in a Hond Accord.

I've just picked up this 2019 (MY2020) Skoda Superb 190 TDI in Laurin & Klement trim, it's got 67K miles on it, 19" Trinity wheels, the boot net and divider options and a spare wheel. It seems to have been a motorway car as the bonnet is quite heavily stone chipped, but the inside is in amazing condition, I'm not sure anyone has ever actually sat in the back!

Next steps, sort out a boot liner, new set of front mats (the drives side one is worn through) and get a tow bar fitted to tow the other car around!

Just purchased a 2017 2.0 TDI DSG 180,000 KM looking forward to getting to know this model with members help after reluctantly having to retire my 2005 1.9 PD AVF AUTO @ 480396km hopefully this will prove as reliable!

This is my 2016 2 litre petrol automatic in metallic brown. I’ve had it for 7 years and it has less than 50k miles on the clock. The only problems I’ve had with it include a water pump failure, and a fuel cap fault. Other than that, it has been a brilliant car.
