Spark plugs for MK2 Fabia vRS?

Featured Replies

Good one hold them to that.

Usually when they notice the RRP of the plugs they try to back out of that.

At a 2nd year / 20,000 mile service which was called a 'Major Service' after the 1 year 'Minor Service'.(£139 as was)

I have only seen Dealerships changing the Pollen Filter @ that first 2 years and not changing Air Filter or Spark Plugs

when charging £259.

  • The reason I altered the gap to 0.6mm was I was getting misfire at high revs, especially when pulling hard. I initially suspected my Bluespark box was to blame, but when I removed it, misfire still oc

  • Running the NGK BKR7EIX in mine buddy and they seem to be doing the trick. As on other threads usually change them around the 10K mark Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

  • I'll be putting these into ours shortly, now done 14k since engine change (delighted to say not using a drop of oil) and I'm not taking any chances with leaving plugs in for recommended intervals. Gon

It's almost two years since my plugs were changed - might just ask dealer to change them at the next service at the beginning of October (although schedule is every four years).

  • 1 month later...

Had the service done on Wednesday, plugs, oil, filters etc, no extra charges.

Total was £360 for major service, brake fluid change and MOT

Only downside was my car was hit whilst parked at the garage, crunched the near side bumper and wing, properly p@@@@ed off about that but thankfully have all insurance details and he has spoken to his admitting full liability, still doesn't make it any better, my car is my pride and joy

Dude, that's all the information you need, just buy four of them!

Bkr7eix here, stock and gapped to 0.7 not a single misfire with 97 octane fuel.

Next month will change the coils for the R8 ones, just need the adapter from Rtmg

Send me a message mate, I should be able to source you the adapter cheaper.
