Got a 2014 superb a litle disappointed that my front and rear discs are corroding really badly . In comparison my 2005 Saab were almost rust free. Is this normal or just a sign of things to come.?

Is it just surface rust  from the high iron content, or are they rotting away before your very eyes?

 

My 2015 Octy disc start to rust within hours of sitting idle - my only choice appears to be to go out in it lots

Hi Pete Bristol.  What a coincidence you live in Bristol too  

The rust is where there should be silver paint which is flaking off. Obviously made to a price but not good.
