Spotted my first 'new' Audi TT S today with 'running' LED indicators. Nice.

They may have been around for a while but it is the first time I've seen them.

I think they look just so right.  a great design.

& they are about the only car that to me looks good with the DRLs on.

Look wise i like the Red TT here with less bling.

OP I take it you are on about the actual front/rear turn indicators the way they spread out from the inside to the outside or are you talking about the DRL's?

I liked the turn indicators personally ;)

Took a 184 ultra diesel thing out for a test drive.

It was on 19" rims and I totally hated the ride.

I'm 6'4" and hit my head twice getting in and getting out on the thick roof bar!

The road noise and lack of headroom killed it for me and I was so gutted, as I totally love the look of the TT and always have. Think it is a design classic for me.

The new dash was OK but not quite how I thought it would be.

Yes, I only saw them from the rear though, (the "running LED indicators" Defenderben ;) ).

Looked pretty cool.

I saw my first one this week too, but on an A6.

The LED's in the indicators lighting up one at a time in the direction of travel looks great!

Look on the bright side, as they are 'cool' it might now encourage Audi drivers to use their indicators more  :D

They are damn smart.

£1300 option with LED lights

Wow!

How 1960's yank-tank.

I thought sequential indicators were the nuts on the '64 Thunderbird Landau that a neighbour had when I was a kid.

Never gonna make Audi's cool though.  They have totally taken over from BMW as the T0553r's choice.

I saw these indicators on an A8 on the M25 late last year. Thought they were pretty cool.

There is an issue, and it is not all the different ways a modern Audi has light systems.

DRL's, DRL's that go out on the side someone indicates etc.

It is how many Audi cars have faulty lights, even 65 plate ones.

Rear Brake lights are obvious ones.

Ones like a Audi away to turn across your path and a DRL goes out but no Indicator comes on could be the steering angle,

and no indicator was used, who knows.

But there are loads of under 3 year old Audi on UK roads with lights that are faulty.

No MOT until 3 years old, soon to be 4 years.

& many Lease Cars around.

Busy busy people.

So do the Light Fault warning lights not show the driver, the driver could not care less, or the Dealers are a PITA to visit and get the Lights Fixed.

But why do new cars still with Trade Plates on have faulty rear brake lights.?

I think they are great...very funky and cool.

Would it make me buy an Audi..........no sorry :P

All the kids are going to retrofit this kind of thing . Standby for 10 year old Fiestas/Astras/Foci  with these indicators :x

Used to be quite common on American cars a long time ago, not sure if any new ones have them.

Waste of time, do they use indicators?

I do. Mind, am I still classed as a kid? I'm 20 on the 10th of this month :D

Yeah they do.  Seen a lot of modern Mustangs with sequential indicators. Although I don't know if its factory or aftermarket.
