The Russians have upset the Iranians

Russia knows Iran won't do anything. If they gave a stuff they wouldn't have fired missiles across the sovereign territory of other nations without permission.

The Only thing Russia is probably bother about is that Iran might get their hands on the tech. I'd suspect the missiles will have blown up as soon as they went off course.

From what I've read around, according to Iranian news sites, their Defence Ministry is rejecting the claims.

I'd find it quite worrying if it does in fact turn out to be a lie on the part of western media. It's incredibly dangerous and irresponsible, during a time in where there is a great deal of tension.

Yet again, dear old State Department and Langley, having taken the lid-off of the can of worms with the "Arab Spring" (Thinks ...Doogle in the Magic Roundabout) and faced with a "No-win" in Syria, can't  draw the line with what they have achieved already (Although North Africa might be an exception) and put the lid back on without appearing to do a Vietnam style step-down with even greater humanitarian implications - and they, of all people, must appear to give a stuff because the future supplantation of native cultures by the "Freedom" of consumer capitalism (Oh dear, I'm thinking of Windows 10, again)  depends on it having an all-embracing, accepting and supportive face.

Trouble is the A Rabs, when  poked with a stick, haven't, like the rest of the Rest-Of-The-World, got the capability to effectively deter these two warring superpowers, but they are able and prepared to take the fight back to its source and go asymmetrical to get their voice heard. And that impacts most on ordinary people, not the . . .  'erm, "Policy makers". Given that "Anti-war" Vietnam style demos by the massed populace seem to have gone out of fashion, what other means are available to express dis-satisfaction with what's going on. No wonder Dave was saying expect a lot more of this over the next 30 years.

It's what their good at. We must have an enemy we must have justification for all the money spent on arms.

Basically the west is annoyed that someone else has taken the initiative in playing world police force it's alright for us but not for those pesky Russians. They need to understand that after a decade and more of meddling the people who live in those country don't like us and are fed up with our nonsense.

NATO as a Northern Treaty Alliance Organisation are clearly shown as Not Fit For Purpose.

They certainly have no ability to stop Putin from doing what he wants to do.

About as good at using up peoples money and resources and Jobs for the Boys as FIFA is.

Ah tovarish, glorious masculine leader of motherland seeks to distract populous from economic and social problems at home help international ally deal with terrorist threat.

At the same time proving glorious technological superiority of motherland over imperialist aggressors in the West. No superior Russian weapons could possibly crash tovarish, they intercepted terrorist aggressors on every occasion.

All is well tovarish.

Meanwhile in Britain, bacon botherer David Hameron, sends 3 blokes in fatigues (25% of the UK's military) to walk around Turkey pointing their fingers at enemies and saying 'bang'. Live ammunition not available due to cutbacks and arms companies failure to employ their quota of refugees with dubious background histories.

Fatty-Fats.jpg

the UK will however be sending it's outdated 1960s designed ground attack tornado fighters and a  significant naval force to back this up.

'Drones'.

Killing people with weapons fired from Drones is not like really going to war.

We are the Nation with Programmers that Invented Lemmings & GTA.

The UK has 15 year olds graduating from Abertay University.(Technical College)  that can wipe out almost anything from anywhere.

If they were not grounded at present for Sexting with Russian Lolitas.

We do not need all that Military Ground Defences and Forward Control stuff anymore,

just some Baby Sitters that can be trusted not to buy them booze.

Can't be 'that' hard to build a transmitter to flood the frequencies that drones use. If nothing else the thing will go into a loiter or fly home mode without any inputs.

Not taking about hacking them just disrupting the signal.

Exactly, the Russians and Chinese have 11 year old graduates that have that covered.

Actually, there is a lot of moaning in Russia about Mr Alpha-dog's systematic crippling of the education system.

I'm amused at how quickly our country has become fans of Russian diplomacy.

The last few years have seen Russia annex the Crimea, undermine the legitimate government of the Ukraine, and ferment discord in several post-Soviet states, not to mention using Gazprom to blackmail many of it's energy dependent customers. in Eastern Europe and further West.

Russia's Syrian vacation is mostly for Putin to build his own popularity at home (not here  - lol) - which is finally starting to suffer from the sanctions imposed after his illegal actions in Ukraine.

Lol the west is denouncing Russia's apparent "bombing" of Iranian target but miraculously manages to forget that it destroyed an Afganhi hospital just days before.

Don't be so sure. Putin spends billions of roubles annually on propaganda agencies like RT, targeting foreign audience. And I personally see signs on this forum of that propaganda hitting the target.

Not everyone is a fan of the United States of America or actually those that lead the country,

defender & protector of the free world and thief of anything they want. Along with the puppet Governments in the UK.

The US likes a good war anyplace other than on their own continent.

Which does not mean people support Russia, the other Super Power along with China.

Samantha Cameron and Michelle Obama should be moved to live in Syria ASAP.

& their children.

Putins tiger and boyfriend as well.

Then we will see how keen the US and Britain are to bomb there.
